Elan Pizzeria

The best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. The gf pizza base was on a par with the regular bases, the toppings were excellent and the overall price was very good too. Note that from 1st November 2023 the restaurant is no longer offering bring your own booze. That very much wouldn't deter me from visiting again.

Having not booked in advance we walked in and luckily they were able to accommodate us. My husband had a chicken tikka pizza and I had the duck pizza, service was super quick, both were excellent and the ice creams we had for dessert were delicious. Would definitely recommend the Elan and wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

I can see why this is the best rated restaurant in Seahouses. It might not be the poshest of restaurants, but for a small seaside town, it's a perfectly lovely down to earth place that serves pizzas far better than you'd expect and with great friendly staff. We arrived in town and hadn't decided where to eat, turns out the choices were fish and chips, places with overly fancy foods that didn't appeal or Elan, a pizzeria with a great range of options so there would be something for anyone who liked pizza. So we asked if they could fit us in as we hadn't booked and we were in luck, if we finished before 19:30, which was plenty of time. Still, we skipped starters and went for the main course as we wanted dessert as well. I had a meat feast, and my wife had that one with the egg on it. Have to say the meat feast was spicier than expected but not too much, about at the right spot for a hot meal. My wife enjoyed her pizza so much that she didn't have space for dessert, so I thought I'd be good and skip it too. Plus, I couldn't decide between chocolate fudge cake and waffles, so that made it easier. Would definitely go there again.
