Superb Fish & Chips, this is the large and had to be folded to fit in the box. Best is the area.

Delightful! Felt quite happy having temperature taken but couldn't see the QR NHS reader anywhere but our details were taken. Huge massive fish....never seen a fish has huge but it was absolutely delicious...I'd like to think when we're next in the area we would sample more from the extensive menu...10/10

Arrived there was a long que outside and speaking to a local I was informed of how it good quality the food was. Bye he was right the fish and chips and scampi was Devine great size and fabulous quality. Well worth the wait. This place has been added to list of great places to eat in the north-east

First time visiting this chippy, and it wont be the last. Chips were great, hubby ordered large fish and it was huuuuge, tasted great too!! Definitely worth a visit. And also social distancing well laid out and easy to follow.

We got takeaway to have at the picnic benches by the beach and I made the mistake of ordering a large. They were amazing but they were also the size of a small whale so portion sizes are very generous. I wrongly assumed small would be a small when I reckon that's probably more accurately a normal sized fish.
The one way system in place is well marked out and the staff were friendly despite it being very busy.
Pre-lockdown we used to go to the cafe and this was always lovely too.

I ordered one cod bites and chips, then a portion of chips I said. The server, put cod bites on top of all the chips, when I only asked for one and the cod bite wasn’t for me as it was for my grandma. I am a vegan, and I don’t like this at all. The server was quite rude, and said that it wasn’t possible to take it back. I should have been given a new portion without the cod bite on top or given a refund. I know this fish and chip shop is good, maybe it was just a bad day, but please learn from this error

Quite a queue tonight, but well worth the wait. Always great quality, good portions & friendly (& fast) staff. Its out of our way, but its our first choice.
