A long time since we've been here. The Sunday lunch is served in 3 sizes.
The small plate didn't look sufficient so ordered a standard size. The serving was really big and I struggled to finish it. My wife could not.
The veg was really fresh and great Yorkshire puddings .
The meat was really tasty but tough in parts - not enough to complain about.
The welcome was warm and friendly and the cost was definitely inexpensive and worth it.

Real country pub good pub food at a great price.

Walked into this pet friendly pub after a stroll from the local sports club (not dog friendly) met a local horse and rider in the carpark enjoying a wine (rider) and a packet of crisps (the horse).
Lovely welcome from the landlord and a couple of we'll kept beers at not a bad price to say its the only pub in the village.
Came back the next afternoon to sample the food which was a short burger and chicken menu with daily specials. Burger and huntsman chicken came with mixed salad and REAL home made chips. Portions were ample and all priced at less than £8. An absolute bargain!

Went for a family birthday party. The owners were lovely, the food was fantastic and the staff and owners went above and beyond.

Very pleasant atmosphere and staff but much of the menu has to be ordered the day before. Having said that we enjoyed what we had. If we lived closer we would visit more often for drinks.

Fantastic little pub! We wanted to find somewhere dog friendly and this came up nearby, so happy we found it! Food was delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for you! We had the nice little dog friendly area to ourselves, tucked in the corner it was lovely and cosy. We will be back for sure!

We came to The Huntsman because the first pub we tried stopped serving Sunday lunch at 3pm and this place serves until 5pm. Two of us had beef and two had pork. Everything was very nicely cooked, the portions were very generous and there was a lot of meat. Great value at £7.95. Our boys had sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake, and both were delicious. There's a nice open fire, pool table and darts board. I couldn't drink as we were driving home from a day out but I'd have loved to have had a few pints and games of pool here. Lovely pub.
