We visited Selby yesterday for a family reunion, it being a mid-way point for us all but not knowing the town particularly well, we looked for recommendations on where to eat and No 1 The Crescent was mentioned a few times as being excellent and we weren't disappointed. Kate the owner looked after us really well and the food was excellent, with good-sized portions at sensible prices. Would highly recommend. Thank you Kate for looking after us :)

Every time we go into selby we always go in there for a couple of pints. The beer is spot on every time. It's always clean and tidy and the staff are all friendly
Second visit was a lovely place. Food was excellent the Sirloin steak and Peppercorn sauce was lovely. Didn't do the cocktails but there was a birthday group in and they looked real proper. Staff really showed they loved what they do the atmosphere was very upbeat.
We come here every Thursday for Boardgaming, but even when not playing anything it’s still a first-choice for place to go out in Selby. Lovely local ales, friendly staff, and a nice little sun-trap beer garden.
Beautiful burgers and friendly staff. Decor is lovely and there is a good range of beers on tap. Looking forward to coming back and trying the brunch :)
What a gem find in little Selby. Great, modern and vibrant place. Very clean, lovely decorated, fantastic Esspreso Martini, food menu that is not a dead boring fatty heart attack recipe. Well and there is staff. That's why I love coming up north. People ate just lovely. Period.

New owners are lovely, we went for lunch Saturday 22/4 we both had the club sandwich and the food was really nice.
