What an impression. I stayed here for a week and didn't have to go far. The staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, the food was abundant and spot on, made by a brilliant chef. I wish I could have stayed longer. The locals immediately took me in and were friendly. What a great place
Needed somewhere reasonably priced to stay whilst visiting some friends, and this place was perfect.
We had a great welcome from the barmaid who saw us to our room, and explained access etc. The room isn’t large, but it is perfect for an overnight stay with an ensuite bathroom containing a shower.
Friendly village pub. Great for lunch or just for a drink. Good pub lunch menu with roast dinners as well on Sundays. Lovely village atmosphere in the bar.

Good food at a reasonable price.
Me and my parents went here on the 13.11.22 very busy but we got a excellent service our roast beef was fantastic and desert was delicious. Friendly atmosphere and all the staff were welcoming. Very good little village pub would recommend to anyone.
Had an amazing meal here. Fantastic food! The pulled pork burger was to die for and the portions and very decent! A lovely place that I will definitely have to come back to!
Nice place, friendly staff, only popped in for a cheeky pint whilst on a training day for work haha. Have been a few times before over the years and it has always been a good enjoyable pub to visit.
Wanted somewhere to ride to for Sunday lunch. Found this pub and love it! Fantastic service really attentive and friendly. Had two roast beef feeling full and incredibly satisfied. Would definitely recommend this pub. Thank you for a great stop.
This place is everything a village pub should be, the staff are amazing and very accommodating, the food is fantastic. I love the diversity of the people who visit, be it on a regular basis or just "floating" through. Keep up the good work
Have come here every year (5) that we pass on our canal boat. Never had a bad meal yet and the staff have always been ace. Plenty of inside and outside space. Probably worth booking in advance as they can get busy (in a good way).
It was ok, food average for a pub these days. Cost of utilities kept the ambient temperature down. May go back when weather is warmer.
