Nice place, friendly staff, only popped in for a cheeky pint whilst on a training day for work haha. Have been a few times before over the years and it has always been a good enjoyable pub to visit.

Friendly village pub. Great for lunch or just for a drink. Good pub lunch menu with roast dinners as well on Sundays. Lovely village atmosphere in the bar.

It was ok, food average for a pub these days. Cost of utilities kept the ambient temperature down. May go back when weather is warmer.

Me and my parents went here on the 13.11.22 very busy but we got a excellent service our roast beef was fantastic and desert was delicious. Friendly atmosphere and all the staff were welcoming. Very good little village pub would recommend to anyone.

This place is everything a village pub should be, the staff are amazing and very accommodating, the food is fantastic. I love the diversity of the people who visit, be it on a regular basis or just "floating" through. Keep up the good work

Wanted somewhere to ride to for Sunday lunch. Found this pub and love it! Fantastic service really attentive and friendly. Had two roast beef feeling full and incredibly satisfied. Would definitely recommend this pub. Thank you for a great stop.

Have come here every year (5) that we pass on our canal boat. Never had a bad meal yet and the staff have always been ace. Plenty of inside and outside space. Probably worth booking in advance as they can get busy (in a good way).

What can I say? First impressions, greeted by the friendly team and immediately felt welcome! First time visiting this place and they have exceeded my expectations. Staff are super friendly and highly efficient and accommodating, table service was excellent as well! Despite not having food on, they had a live band, which I have to admit were awesome! A good few oldies being played which brought back some fond memories. Thank you so much for a great experience! Will definitely be back again!
