This inn has a charming bar and restaurant attached that serves high quality food that is plated in a very appealing style. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the siracha chicken. Both were excellent. Service was lovely. Highly recommended. Rooms are comfy.
We had a lovely stay here. After just finished the military route up Pen-y-Fan we were very tired. The room was lovely especially the shower. Food was lovely & the staff was very friendly. The owner Lady (sorry we cant remember her name) couldn’t do enough for us & was lovely.

We arrived at the Usk & Railway at 1.20 having not booked a table for Sunday lunch. We were told that they could fit us in but there would be a wait for service and food which we were happy to wait. Orders for drinks were taken quickly and once all who had booked were served our food order was take

We stumbled upon the Usk and Railway Inn when looking for a pub for food on a Sunday evening. Food and service were excellent, with a great choice of beers. Highly recommended!

Possibly one of the nicest meals we’ve ever had. We enjoyed the sharing platter for starters. Lime & sweet chilli glazed prawns with mango coulis. Welsh cheesy garlic bread & chicken wings. All aromatic and refreshing. The mains. Pork roast dinner & Honey, Garlic & Sriracha Chicken.

My wife and I have just arrived home following a wonderful weekend stay at the Usk & Railway Inn. We stayed in one of the double en-suite rooms, which was very well presented throughout, a really comfortable bed, great shower and well stocked with coffee, tea and biscuits. We ate at the Inn on both

Called her for a bite to eat. Wasn't expecting much as hadn't heard any reviews from people but was pleasantly surprised how great the food was. The proper chips and the burger looked fantastic 😋
The soup was lovely and as the photos show, the presentation was spot on.
