The house of public is very clean and has a hotel ontop also. I enjoyed very much the food of the nature the dinner was filling and took the hunger off me. The people are very nice in particular the lady of the land who gave me the one hundred thousand welcomes. Of this I am sure, I will go back there. It can be hard to find this type of house of public in England. 10 of the 10.

Called in for a few Pints on way past. The Lady behind the bar was really lovely and it's the cheapest pint of Morreti I've had in well over a year. Lovely beer garden to the rear also. Thankyou

Fantastic food and generous portions for hungry walkers. Also wanted to highlight that they took great care catering for people with coeliac disease (gluten-free diet) so highly recommend for anyone with a food allergy.

Not to far from Giggleswick to walk to, Craven arms looked like the obvious choice for Sunday Roast, nice, clean pleasant pub, large dining area, good menu.
Good, selection of draught beers, lagers and wines & spirits.

Dropped in as we were driving back from a morning out. Warm welcome, good service and a well balanced menu. It is always great to discover somewhere new and a place worth returning!
Easy to see why this place has such good reviews!

Good meal. Good service and efficient. Worth a visit. Lovely warm surroundings. Stayed at Dallicar House which is just behind The Craven Arms which was fabulous. Near Skipton so great for a day out. Ingleton falls near if you want a 6 mile walk.

Came for food.
The beef wellington was unreal however the burger was below expected.
Would recommend this place just don’t get the burger.
Service was excellent though and gave us a free dessert to compensate for the poor burger.
Will return when in Settle again

I regularly bring a group to Settle for a celebratory break. We eat at least once at the Craven Arms and always enjoy the ambience, food & drink and service. We are booked in for a meal again in May and looking forward to it.

Really good food and service was great too. Unsure why they want email address and postcode to write a review on their own platform though.

Lovely warm welcome, had some lunch on arrival, evening meal later after a trip into Settle, about 1 mile, and a hearty breakfast before we left next morning! All meals, and service, were excellent! We had 3 dogs with our party, all greeted enthusiastically, the rooms were excellent, warm, spacious. Couldn't fault the Craven Arms or the staff!

2 x couples with 3 dogs in total.
Decided on a single night stay between Christmas and New Year and we were no disappointed. We have previously visited The Craven Arms as we stay in Settle a few times during the year.
We arrived at lunch time on Wednesday had lunch (a hot sandwich and bowl of chunky chips) went out for the day and back for tea. Various meals had in the party. Turned in late and a very comfy bed and pillows awaited us. Morning breakfast with lots of choice from buffet to hot selection. This was a very welcomed break and we can not fault any part of the stay. All areas very clean and owners and all staff very welcoming, friendly and offered good services. Definitely worth a return visit at some point.

We booked the Craven Arms for my Nans 90th birthday and it was fantastic from the moment we walked in. We started with drinks at the bar served by very friendly staff and then we were seated in the dining room. The starters , mains and deserts were all served perfectly, hot and delicious. Considering there were 15 of us plus several other large parties the food was fantastic. Really looking forward to eating here again next time we are in Giggleswick.

Cannot rate the rooms as we only visited for lunch but would expect the standard would be as good as our experience in the restaurant and bar. This was our place of choice for a family meetup, we were impressed last time and were not disappointed this time. Service is very friendly, making us feel very welcome. The menu has a good selection, with the Christmas menu now available. We now consider this as our first choice in the Settle area.

Stayed here while cycling Way of the Roses. My wife had injured herself and had limited mobility. The staff were really helpful and went above and beyond to assist us for our one night stay. Food was great too!

We called in for Sunday lunch and were very impressed. The staff were welcoming, the food excellent (loved the summer pudding on the Specials board!). Service was prompt and the staff friendly and smiling. The place was spotlessly clean. Would thoroughly recommend. Well done the Craven Arms!
