Review The Cafe At Car And Kitchen - Settle

Can only comment on coffee and scone. Probably the best scone I've ever had - and I've had a lot!! Freshly baked, crispy outside and soft inside. Yum! Coffee really good too. The shop has some lovely things for gifts.

Our first time visiting the cafe part of this business. We believe that larger neals were served here up until recentley but now they are serving coffees and cakes only. As that was all we needed at that time it was'nt a problem to us. Two lovely flat white coffees an 2 sluces of cake were served by very polite polite and courteous young ladies. We'll call again for sure.

Lovely light lunch with fresh ingredients. Very busy but didn't have to wait too long. The young waitresses were doing sterling work. More than happy to recommend.

Best place to eat in Settle. Breakfasts are off the chart. I tried the FAT for the first time a few days ago (I’m usually a pork taco loyalist) which was absolutely spot on. Coffee is great too and there’s always lots of lovely things in the shop should you be caught for birthday presents or need a wardrobe update. Stock is changing all the time - you can see how much effort goes into keeping the stock fresh.

A lovely treasure trove shop with beautiful products. Gifts and homeware for all ages.

Always tasty food and good service at the Car and Kitchen cafe. If the weather is good enough, it’s great to sit outside and enjoy some people watching. The shop is also a favourite as it stocks some quirky and creative brands that you don’t see in many other outlets. Good for:- - books on food and drink - luxury kitchen implements and accessories - giftware such as ceramics, scarfs, bags and ornaments - soft toys for children (Jellycat & similar) - gift cards and luxury gift wrapping - table ware and mugs - cushions and throws - designer clothing for women

What a sublime little place this is. An exquisite shop full of interesting and unusual items and the upstairs cafe is a most charming space for an interlude. Lovely, helpful staff and a rather superb full English. Also, perhaps, the best rooibos tea I've ever tasted. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I love the food here. The most excellent fresh Salad Bowl and The Donker (you'll have to go to know) are my super favourites. Saying that, the waffles are great too. Infact, it all is. If you want pie and chips, go t'pub.

Excellent staff , food and ambiance Lots of people unable to be accommodated as some tables were occupied by people in no hurry at all Made it difficult for the staff

Cute cafe/shop combination. Delicious waffles would really recommend trying them. Will be back next time I'm in the area hiking. Staff were attentive and friendly.
