Lovely old English Yorkshire dales cottage. Roomier than I thought from photos. Nice rooms in traditional style. Everything you need is here, lovely views n countryside surrounding, traditional pub n food walking distance. Tearooms attached to cottage, again traditional old English style. Train station walking distance for scenic Settle to Carlisle railway, but never disturbed by it. Only downside to be aware of is no or weak mobile phone signal. Internet but weak, useable in parts of house, two foot thick walls probably don't help. But if you want peaceful, relaxing to get away for walks, scenic drives, scenic rail travel or just resting n reading, ideal.

Impeccable Service and Even Better food. A place like no other, the calmness of the area and people there were marvellous. Great time to be had.

Lovely little tea room where we stopped for tea and homemade cake. The owner also makes jam, marmalade and biscuits for sale. It was a fine day so the front door was open which made the tearoom a little cool, but it was charming.

Found this thanks to helpful note in now-closed Three Peaks cafe at opposite end of the village. Used the tearoom rather than the cottage. Really interesting room, full of nick nacks, giving plenty to look at. Tea and teacake very tasty. Loo is across road rather than on site.

After 8 hours walking in torrential rain, we came across this delightful little tea room. I have always avoided such places as I expected them to stuffy posh places. Far far from it. Blindbeck welcomed us wet through hikers. Served us gorgeous very reasonable priced food and we left feeling so much better. If you're around Horton in Ribblesdale it's worth a visit. The Preserves and homemade biscuits are a must have purchase on your way out.

Literally having tea at Grandpa & Grandma's. Comfy, good prices. You can also buy home-made preserves and biscuits, which we did. A nice break after climbing Pen-Y-Ghent!

Popped in for a coffee and cake on the way back from Whernside. Unbelievably cheap, like going back to 1990. And lovely home made cakes. Beautiful.

Wonderful tea room. Step back in time to the 1950s! Delicious egg and bacon bap and good, strong, Yorkshire tea.
