The food and service was excellent, not rushed. We had the steak and lobster. Too full for dessert. Would recommend and definitely come.

We did not know this pub, we wanted a light lunch for us and my granddaughters after we had visited the National Trust property just down the lane. We parked in carpark at rear, which I'd seen on sat nav satellite View, other wise I might not have known it was there. We walked through the gate into the garden past some lovely dining pods, but ended up at the kitchen door. We were shown a way out a side gate to the main entrance, we took a table in the bar area and were given the children's menu and main meals and bar snacks, we struggled at first to find something for all of us but decide to share two meals between us, so we had a beef sandwich with fries and a pint of prawns with a side order of fried, my partner and I shared the beef sandwich and granddaughters ate the prawns. It was very tasty, well presented and staff were friendly.

We stopped here toward the end of a long cycle. The outside tables were pleasant and the setting picturesque. The food was excellent (if a bit pricey, as most things seem to be these days). The young servers were very attentive and professional (the more experienced barkeep a bit less welcoming). Highly recommend.

Really amazing. The food and service is out of this world. It's like a Michelin restaurant inside a country pub. I wish I'd visited years ago and am pleased to have discovered it now. Really great team working there - thank you to them all for making the evening so memorable.

A lovely high-end-ish pub offering great food. The pork belly was one of the very best I've ever had. The dessert (lemon curd parfait) was just genius - a delicate balance of flavours and texture. When we visited on Sunday, only set menus were offered, which was a little bit inconvenient if you only wanted a quick bite like in our case. The service was friendly while they were present, but the wait between courses could be better managed.

A wonderful, relaxed Sunday afternoon sipping on stunning drinks, eating absolutely fabulous food and listening to the very talented Liam Joseph sing. Exceptional service by Ollie, what a credit to The Plough this young man is. An all round perfect Sunday afternoon. Thank you for having us. By the way, your fluffy butter is insane!!!!

Beautiful! My other half surprised me with a pod for my 30th birthday. It was so decorated it looked amazing. The food was outstanding and service fab. Only thing was that the £50 paid for the pod only! It does not come off the food bill so you just pay for the space which, to me, was a little steep. (The 30 balloons my other half paid another fee for)
