After moving down to this area three years ago, It was the first time we decided to have lunch at the london inn. We were not disappointed. The staff were excellent. The food was lovely, So we will definitely return..

The tapas were tasty & decent sized portions. My partner had hake tagliatelle which was most enjoyable. The fruit crumble was disappointing, it was just a light sprinkle of oats over stewed berries, no crunch or depth to the crumble. We enjoyed our evening, the pub always feels cosy & welcoming

Lovely venue with a great atmosphere.
Service and food superb with a wide variety of beers/lagers and spirits including Shaldon Gin and Rum. When it says it is dog friendly, that's exactly what it means. We'll be back.

We are on holiday for a week based in Shaldon. We’ve eaten twice at the London Inn and each meal has been fantastic. We’ve never eaten at the same place twice in one week previously. We enjoyed the tapas this evening, highly recommend it. The other night we had a chicken burger and the summer tacos. Again delicious! Lovely staff and general atmosphere. We hope to be back in Shaldon soon as it has just been a perfect week. Thank you to the staff and management.

Wow! the food here is fabulous. Ate here twice, both time a variety of tapas with others and both times amazing. Lamb cofta, scallops, tacos, sausages roasted in honey and the monkfish all beautifully cooked by a chef who obviously knows what's he's doing. Great drinks and service. Couldn't ask for more.

Lovely meal with friends, couldn't make my mind up whether to have the Belly pork slice,but had the steak, wish I'd had the belly pork slice when I saw a gentlemans meal being served it looked amazing and he said it was!! Yum yum 😋

In a picture perfect location opposite the bowling green, the pub delivers great service with 3 ales on the bar. There is sunny seating area at the front of the pub.

WOW, what a find. We stayed in the apartment above the Inn and it was really nice. The bed was very comfortable and room nicely decorated. The TV had Netflix which was a bonus. The bathroom was a nice size with a tropical head shower.
The location is perfect, right amongst al the attractions of Shaldon.
We also ate in the pub. The food was 5 star. I had the mussels in white wine, they were dreamy. The service was excellent too. A special mention to Lucy, who went above and beyond the call off duty. Highly recommended.
