It was busy and can see why, not a bad chippy at all reasonable price and friendly staff, food cooked fresh to order, but chips, cod and battered stuff simply lovely, had lovely chats to other customers while happily waiting, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was they forgot me curry sauce 😂 but been out all day and couldn’t be bothered to walk back. All in all totally recommend thanks guys! See you again sometime soon
Drove from Ventnor to Shanklin as local chippies were shut. By god it was worth the journey. Didn't get to eat the food for almost 35 minutes because of the weather and drive back, and the fish was still crispy and lovely white inside. The chips were gorgeous too. Friendly faces and a nice welcome. 5 stars all the way.
This chip shop was close to where I was staying and thought ideal for a quick evening meal back at the digs. The service was excellent, a real family business that obviously prides itself on customer service. I had a quick chat to the owner about the economy while i was waiting, a really lovely chap. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were generous and the fish was lovely. A real gem of a shop and I would advise you to use them whenever you are in the area.

Well we used this place for the first time since we moved to the island. And we will definitely be returning! Glad we ordered in advance as they were very busy, sign of a good shop. I had a burger and the wife had a saveloy and shared a large portion of chips. Value for money and definitely looking forward to trying the fish. Would definitely recommend this one and now our new local chip shop.
Best chip shop in shanklin, and they do the best chips this side of the island. The proportions are massive, They also open at 4.30pm on Friday and Saturday . I'm living local, and will definitely be back

Went off looking for a good chippy whilst we’re on holiday and this was probably the best chippy me and the mrs have ever had brilliant food and excellent customer service if only we had one this good by us in Birmingham!

Absolutely top quality place, super clean and impeccable service! Our cods were large, fleshy and tender whilst the chips were golden, crisp and perfectly cooked. All served with care and a smile! We'll be back soon!
The batter on our large cod was a little greasy, but not overly so. It was crisp and the cod was delicious. The medium chips were huge and excellent in texture and flavour. I was too busy eating this while on the esplanade to take pictures. Very worthwhile.

Best fish and chips in the area by far. Almost went to the tourist trap on the esplanade, but decided to walk up the hill to try and avoid the huge queues there, and it worked out a treat. Better price, better batter, fish was lovely and great service all round.
