£10 for a cod and chips! Eat in or takeaway. What a fantastic place! Indoor seating is spacious and arranged in booths. Wooden cutlery provided. Service is fast and efficient. Good children’s menu that includes a carton of orange/apple juice. Teas and coffees served too. Seems to be a dog friendly place too as a couple of well-behaved dogs were sat happily by their owners tables in the restaurant. Ketchup costs extra so bring your own if you want to save 60p
We arrived just as they were about to shut and everything was cooked fresh for us. Chips were really nice, cod was decent and a fair price, lovely location. No complaints at all, not sure why the rest of the reviews aren’t better.
Went for dinner on a Friday night, queued but it went quickly. Food was pretty good and staff seemed cheery. I hate sitting in fish and chip places, because they feel depressing, and this was no different. Lovely to eat on the beach.

We order 2 chips, fish, steak pie, onion rings and a burger for £25:80 costs a little more than what I wanted to spend on a fish and chips lunch but considering its a holiday makers sea front things are always a bit more pricy so no real grumbles there.
The chips were perfect like most of the food was, the pie was quite doughy at the bottom and looked like it could have been done for a bit longer but there was nice staff, everything was clean.
Only thing that actually annoyed me is I begrudge paying 20p to have a wee in a restaurant that I've paid to eat in especially when I never had any change
I honestly don't understand how so many people hated this Fish&Chips place... me and my partner really enjoyed it it was all fresh and not to greesy! The partner had cod and chips and I had chicken nuggets and chips and the chicken didn't taste cheap at all! As it was our first time hear at the chippy and being on holiday was lush! Highly recommended!
Very busy place, although plenty of tables to eat inside, the fish was cooked fresh but the chips were not great, but you get a lot. They only have cod, when haddock is my go to fish.
The guy serving the food needs to be told that customers don’t want to hear him rapping to Eminem songs while wrapping the food. Food was good and onion rings were very nice too.
Beautiful cod and chips! The batter was light and crispy, and the chips were perfect - crispy and golden on the outside and fluffy inside. An absolute bargain for £10. Whoever the fryer is on Sunday knows his stuff!!
The perfect spot for your classic fish and chips! Staff were super friendly, food was tasty! We really enjoyed our first experience here and will definitely be back again !
Good quality fish and chip restaurant on the front. Big and airy with plenty of space for sit-down meals as well as traditional takeaway. Slightly nervous after reading some previous reviews but saw no issues with cleanliness or staffing problems. Busy but to be expected as we visited in Six Week Holiday. Free condiments and excellent value for money. Recommended.
Called in for traditional fish and chips (no skin on!) and was not disappointed. Not the biggest portion but was happily filled. They were busy with plenty people waiting but it only took about ten minutes to get our order. They even opened the toilets for us on request.
