Popped in for chips, friendly staff and a massive portion for £2, the chips were crisp and hot as they were fresh from the frier. What an excellent chipper, I will be returning. Im not sure I took the best picture as it was dark, but what a feast.
Not local but stopped off on way home what a little gem of a chippy , big portions super tasty food, decent prices and staff that are friendly , happy and super helpful 😀

Delicious fish and love the mixed kebab in a tray with salad. They forgot my salad though but no biggie, still lovely. Good social distancing rules in place etc and you can phone before you collect.
So lucky that this is our local chippy, it is fantastic. Friendly staff, great prices, huge portions, and the food is always great. Always disappointed when we visit other chip shops, none compare to Shawbury Fish Bar

The best fish and chips I've had in years - and I live by the south coast! Perfectly and freshly cooked fish and a huge portion of very tasty chips. All piping hot.

Great food and super-cheap...like really, reallt cheap. Staff were friendly and they have a great range of food for 'treat days', everything you would expect from a 'chippy' Just goes to show not everyone rips you off these days.
Best Chippie near Shrewsbury can't recommend it enough. The fish is nearly like steak it is so thick, there are plenty of other options there too and all cooked really well.
