Popped in for chips, friendly staff and a massive portion for £2, the chips were crisp and hot as they were fresh from the frier. What an excellent chipper, I will be returning. Im not sure I took the best picture as it was dark, but what a feast.
Not local but stopped off on way home what a little gem of a chippy , big portions super tasty food, decent prices and staff that are friendly , happy and super helpful 😀
Excellent service from the staff and their mini fish is by far the best !

Large chips enough for a small family best in town. Great fish and great selection on the menu. Value box range is excellent value. Staff are friendly and courteous. Some people have given this a bad review but having lived in the village a long time I’ve known them to be really good most of the time occasionally you may have an over cook fish and chips but majority of the time it is excellent food
Delicious fish and love the mixed kebab in a tray with salad. They forgot my salad though but no biggie, still lovely. Good social distancing rules in place etc and you can phone before you collect.
So lucky that this is our local chippy, it is fantastic. Friendly staff, great prices, huge portions, and the food is always great. Always disappointed when we visit other chip shops, none compare to Shawbury Fish Bar
