3 of us went here for a birthday meal for my dad. Service was first class, food was delicious and plenty of it. We had a lovely time. Will definately be returning.
A clean, bright, comfortable pub with excellent food, and friendly service. The menu had great variety, the drinks were good and we appreciated the large outdoor garden as an option for dining with our small dog. Would highly recommend this pub for drinks or a terrific meal
A cosy village pub on the outskirts of Waltham chase. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food is good, a little expensive for what it is perhaps but it was made up for by the staff’s warm hospitality.
Came for a Sunday roast after a few recommendations and it was definitely worth a visit. Roast was delicious, service was warm and friendly and whilst there was a live band on it wasn’t too loud and provided an additional element to the atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and we will be coming

First night fancied something simple a basket meal £6.50 good quality nice beer and our black dog felt very at home. Went back a second night ate off the main menu again lovely meal

Nice pub and food service cud B bit better young girls give u food don't even ask if u want any sauces etc ,had to call her walking by for things ,then went to pay the older lady pony tail seems very stressed wasn't that busy said what table we had tab we separated bill she found it hard to separate
Lovely food, service and atmosphere. There is a small play area for children and large beer garden. Good selection on the taps. Just missing pie from the menu.
We had a lovely time, and the food was good even though it was late afternoon. Friendly servers and loved the surroundings.
Went here for Sunday lunch. Brilliant service and the roast turkey dinner was excellent. Mrs had the warm chocolate brownie which she said was amazing. Most definitely would recommend 👍

Would say the bbq pulled pork bap could of had a tad more sauce added to it. But the warm Belgium waffle was to die for.
