I've lived in Asia for 3~ years and I was sceptical of all the amazing reviews. But the Special Braised Pork Belly was the best Chinese dish I've ever had in the UK. The included egg was amazing! Also the Peking spare ribs were fantastic. Crispy, sweet and sticky.
My girlfriend is a vegan and really enjoyed her food, but wished there was more information on the dishes online. For example the oyster sauce listed as vegetarian, which is a little confusing.
The salt and chili chips could have been a bit better, but that's me being picky.
Definitely try it.
First time ordering from here. I must say I'm impressed. A lovely lady answered the phone and when I asked if they catered for vegans she pretty much knew what I meant and asked me a few questions just to make sure, which I liked. Good quality food and service. A thumbs up from me. Will most definitely be back.
Food is very good, staff are very friendly although some are not fluent in English. We have been a few times now the prawns in the shell with chilli are really good as well as the the lamb ribs in laoganma chilli sauce both are really worth a try. It's not as busy as some restaurants on London Road Sheffield. Which makes it better as the busy ones makes it less personal than less busy ones. Try it yourself.
The food here is so amazing!
Food very good. Proper Dim Sum and delicious Steamed Custard Buns. All round very nice. Bilingual menu and even Congee is available. Free WiFi is also there. Along side tea pot refills, just open the lid fully back and the staff will get you a fresh pot. Good authentic Cantonese food, the sort of place where the Sheffield Chinese community goes for Sunday lunch.
Great place to eat if you are looking for great Chinese food. Portions are huge! Prices are low. They gave us a free half chicken just because we spent over £30 + discount (I forgot the %) on our first visit.
Really nice place. It's my 2nd visit here this time with my daughter, son in law and grandson grandad there as well. We lucky cos my husband knows the owner so get plenty of food and all lovely.

Normally go to Saigon 68 but lately that place looks dirty and food is very rushed..
The food at taste of China is fresh and staff are really friendly!!
Had the set meal for 3 and it was very good especially the crispy duck.
