This was our first visit. The menu is small, just how we like it. Very tasty. It had something for everyone. Portion sizes meant that we could enjoy all three courses. Wine list was well chosen. Service lovely. Food/tastes reminded us of one of our favourite modern cuisine French restaurants.

Excellent food, very carefully prepared and very well presented. Good wine list. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Prices are a little bit over the average, but totally in line with the quality of dishes. I definitely look forward to coming back!

An excellent find. Fascinating tastes: we both had the salmon and hake and were given free complementary cocktails as it was VDay. Looking forward to Feb 14th next year.

What a lovely restaurant with great service and wonderful ambience. Skipped starters and all opted for the hake and then dessert and coffees. Malborough New Zealand wins £30 was excellent

So I've now been here twice, the first visit was an 8.5/10 which I think is a relatively decent score but this is about my second visit, So the restaurant was empty apart from myself and my friend Booty plus another couple, now it was a Thursday night so ok I suppose but I more people would have been nice. More food on this occasion would have also been nice as we left hungry, We honestly went to get a dessert elsewhere. Anyway, the most important bit is not a single thing that we ate excited us. I would score the meal at best 6/10. Providing the place is still here then I will visit again as Ive had 1 good visit and 1 bad one so lets see what happens next time.

Great evening, would highly recommend, the food tasted amazing as well as looking the part. We went as a party of 3, we all ordered different and tried each others. All dishes was equally as tasty. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I thought it was great value for money. Can’t wait to go back.

Last minute booking for my wife's birthday so was really surprised they could fit us in. The cocktails we had were great followed by a fantastic bottle of white wine. We were treated with a very nice carrot bhaji amuse-bouche before our starters arrived on the house that was amazing and should be on the menu! Both our mains were again perfect and desert was also. This was our second visit (our first was by chance not long after opening) and I'm glad to see the quality is just as good if not better and they deserve all the praise. Sad to see it as quiet as it was, but a Tuesday night in January is likely quiet most places, it didn't dampen our mood or the atmosphere and the staff were all amazing and friendly.

We had dinner for six, and it was a great occasion. The focaccia is delicious, and the venison roll as an amuse bouche was delightful. But for me the eel with truffle oil was top quality. I tried my wife's salmon which was excellent. The duck I had was amazing. The server was kind enough to fetch more focaccia so I could mop up every drop of the sauce. The cheese was a worthy end to the meal. We had prosecco as an aperitif three bottles of still wine and a glass of port and a cocktail. The whole thing cost around £350 which was value for what we had.

Delicious food but not much selection. I understand why this is although being a vegetarian it’s not a place I can go back to regularly as I don’t want to have the same dishes again and again. I needed a place to go on Saturday night and I looked at the menu hoping that the dishes had changed since the last time I came which was around July 2019. They hadn’t changed the vegetarian dish from what I remember therefore we chose somewhere else. I think the service and food is amazing I would just like to see a change of menu a bit more. Maybe I’m wrong and the dishes have been changed but are just similar to what I remember. I will absolutely be going back once I see some more variety!

I am just waking up after enjoying on of the most pleasurable New Years Eve’s I have had in a long long time. We decided to treat ourselves to Juke and Loe’s. Although I have been a few times before and always impressed, I have never been for a special occasion (such as the NYE menu). I truly wasn’t disappointed. After being Warmly welcomed with a Gin Fizz we were presented with the superb starter of monk fish. It was cooked to perfection. The main didn’t disappoint either with a beautiful piece of plaice (I’m not usually a massive fish fan but this was sensational). Finished off with a chocolate desert was to die for. The foods quality reflected the price of £75 per head. It was worth every Penny for a truly magical New Year’s Eve. Thanks Juke and Loe’s

Visited one Wednesday at the beginning of December. The restaurant was full, good sign. Small but interesting menu. Complementary focaccia bread was probably the best I have ever tasted. Amuse of mushroom dumpling with truffle mayo and Parmesan, delightful! Scottish diver scallop with parsley textures, interesting and delicious, other half had salmon with bacon dashi,Both had a pork dish for main which really was a celebration of the pig.skipped desert as a little full. Overall very fairly priced. Excellent friendly service from a young front of house team. We will be back

Had a weekend visit to Sheffield and had heard how amazing this place is, so had to find out for ourselves..........we wasn't disappointed. This was fine dining in a relaxed, chilled environment.Staff were very friendly and informative when asked about the menu. We had the scallops for starters, they were fabulous, followed by the duck, this was a delight, especially the shepherds pie to share.... we did not want this to end! The homemade bread and the Marmite butter were all wonderful added surprises. Deserts tasted as wonderful as they looked on the plate. We can't recommend this place enough, well done guy's! Well worth a visit.

We went for a special occasion so while the food is expensive, we were aware of this and not counting the pennies. The star dish was a steak tartar starter with bone marrow brioche - scrummy! We also had an octopus starter, which I didn’t think the watermelon added anything to, but the octopus itself was cooked perfectly - the best I’ve ever had! Followed by a beef and duck main (the duck dish a little sweet for me but still very tasty and well cooked) and 2 desserts. Unlike some other reviews here I thought the portion sizes were good and what I expected for a restaurant like this, but I would visit here to have 2 or 3 courses if I came again for dinner. The reason I dropped a mark here was that I think the atmosphere didn’t quite match up to standard of the food - we sat at a table by the window, which was nice except for there was a strong, cold draught; there were what looked like snail/slug trails on my chair cushion (maybe as it was right next to the doors to the outside?), and personally I think the toilets could do with some updating to match the feel and quality of the downstairs. They seemed pretty forgotten about to me. Otherwise, thanks for a delicious meal!

It was our first visit to Juke and Loe, as we wanted to try somewhere different that we had never been to before. We were not disappointed. All the food was imaginative and very tasty and the three of us enjoyed three courses each. Service was good. The restaurant is quite small but had a very nice ambiance, with the background music at the right level and thankfully all the other diners not talking too loudly. It really is a hidden jem of Sheffield and I predict it to rise even higher in the ratings.

Visited here with friends on a Saturday night. Small and cozy restaurant with warm welcome. Food not cheap, but worth the money because it is very good! Staff were young but knew their roles well. Would highly recommend this place!

Had another great meal here today. We’ve never had a bad meal here for lunch dinner or any time. Luck forward to the next time. Xx

This restaurant has to be the best in Sheffield! Great service from start to finish , and a really well put together menu. Fresh ingredients and attention to detail on the plate. Enjoyed smoked eel to start followed by a main of hare , both were worth a Michelin star in our opinion The wine selections are interesting and reasonably priced.

First visit was cancelled very late on (6pm given a 7.30 booking) due to a leak. We rearranged for a few weeks later, and when seated as an apology for the late cancellation they gave us a free bottle of wine. Unfortunately we were charged for the wine, but didn’t realise until after we’d left. Great food but lacking in service and atmosphere.
