Verogusto - Sheffield - Photo album

Simply, some of the best food and wine served anywhere. Ok, you can get cheaper elsewhere but not of this special! We sampled 2 wines both new to us. Unexpectedly excellent. Wonderful to be able to buy quality wine by the glass. Food was imaginative and perfectly cooked and timed for our theatre vi
Superb place, close to the theatres in Sheffield. Excellent food. Fabulous interior and brilliant staff and service. Highly recommended pre-show but this place is really worthy of time being spent over your meal. It has a huge wine selection at some crazy prices, if you wanted to spend a lot of mon
The best Italian restaurant in Sheffield, and joint #1 in the whole of the UK, along with Lanterna Ristorante in Scarborough! Thank you. Utterly perfect food, lovely setting, great staff. Will be back.
If I could give this more then 5 stars I would. A lovely place down a quiet street in the city centre. The food is phenomenal and the service is just as good. Probably the best meal I’ve had anywhere in some time. 10/10 😀
I have now dined here 3 times. For me VeroGusto is a solid 4+ stars. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, very much a family run feel. Some of the staff are Italian. The decor is bright, but the dining area feels quite intimate. There is a lovely 'wine wall' at the end of the restaurant. I unders
We wanted to try this restaurant since we moved to Sheffield, but you need to book a table about 2 weeks advance. Very good quality and the service is amazing. Loved it.
Absolutely fabulous meal, service & atmosphere excellent. Would definitely recommend & will return. Thank you for making our night.
Very delicious authentic Italian food, with great wines & dessert too. Quite pricey but it does evidently go into the food quality and preparation. Taking away one star though because I didn’t like the ambiance much — tables were too close together and the dining space a bit busy & distracting. Serv
Pretty nice! The risotto pretty nice, the shrimp was fresh and the fish was really fresh and tender. The pappardelle is rich of lard and really tasty. The soup was really rich! There was a fly in the shop tho.
Perfectly located near to Sheffield’s Lyceum and Crucible theatres this restaurant is one we’ve visited regularly over the years. For once we’re not in a hurry to tread the boards and we can enjoy a leisurely dinner. The bar area isn’t the most attractive but it’s fine for a quick Prosecco before
The best meal we’ve had in Sheffield, hands down! The food was excellent, service really so well synced and thoughtful, and atmosphere just lively, fun and authentic. We had the ox cheek, orecchiette, tiramisu and lemon meringue tart. The mash in the ox cheek dish I could have eaten a plate of alone
Delicious as always! Great food, excellent wine and awesome service! Will definitely return!
Food was really amazing. Each course was fresh and tasteful. The dining is authentic. The service is great, the staff are attentive but not intrusive. It certainly is on the higher end in terms of price, however, the money is put back into the food, ambience, atmosphere and service.
Delicious, authentic Italian food with attentive service. Felt like I was in Italy again. The cannolo was brilliant. I will definitely be coming back.
This is without doubt one of the best restaurants in Sheffield. The attention to detail is exceptional the food and first class service together made for a great experience. If you like wine, they have one of the most comprehensive wine list I have seen in Sheffield. This was my second visit, alread
Overall a good experience. Friendly and efficient service and a nice atmosphere. The food was good but portions a little small.
