We went to eat here today with my dog. The staff and manager made us feel so welcome. A lot of places will say that they are dog friendly and then only let you sit outside or in a stuffy corner but this place is NOT like that! They even made his food dog friendly. Food was so tasty and affordable. Lovely ambiance and service!
Went on a Saturday evening and it was very busy but there is plenty of parking.
The staff were friendly, especially as they had not got our table booking but managed to fit us in.
The menu is quite varied, with something for most people. After our order was taken, it was an hour that we waited for our food. A couple of requests we had asked for were not done.
The food was well prepared and presented nicely. They cleared some plates away while some in the party were still eating which I don't like. There was no offer of a desert menu, coffee etc.
Overall, it was nice food, friendly staff but just a couple of things that could be improved.
Nice pub. Food is always pretty decent but it is a little pricey for drinks. I think I'd visit more often of there were better prices on drinks. I've had a few different meals here and all of them have been very nice. The chips in particular are delicious.
We went on a staff do for a meal and the quiz night. We had an amazing night! The food was lovely and was served quickly, really good portion sizes, I had a small fish and chips and couldn't finish it!.. Liam was the manager on shift and was very responsive to anything we asked of him. The quiz host was really good and kept us entertained! We have decided we are going to do it more often as we really really enjoyed it! Thank you Liam and staff for going above and beyond!
Went with a group of work colleagues and couldn't have been looked after better. Very nice atmosphere and the staff were very attentive from the moment we got there. Food was lovely and not too expensive so I would highly recommend this place.
Excellent food, very tasty, piping hot when it came out to the table.
Didn't have to wait long following our order being put in.

Had a meal here today. Lovely place. Newly refurbished to a high standard. Great food..Best mushroom soup I've ever had! The bangers n mash was delicious with onion gravy & fresh vegetables. The staff topped off an excellent experience with their friendliness & efficiency. Someone recommended this place to me & I highly recommend it too. Thankyou

Very nice quiet pub with exceptional food waiting time was minimal the food is prepared Ad hoc so fresh and tasty, the service was very polite. All in all a very nice tasty experience as it’s just up the road I can see another visit to try the Sunday roast!
Catered for our mum's 90th birthday at short notice and couldn't fault them, food delicious, staff were all brilliant made us feel very welcome. Will definatley be visiting again. Thank you.
