Can't go wrong with a notty pie. Used to come here quite a bit, frequented by locals/ students and all. Very chill place, that sells great food. The flavours change every so often, so we loved trying the different ones. Very generous with the filling and also sides.

Visited on a Monday lunchtime so I couldn't comment on atmosphere. But the pies, chips and mushy peas were excellent. The staff were spot on, excellent service. Only four stars? A little pricey for pub grub in my old tight opinion

What a comprehensive menu of pies either with Mash/chips and mushy peas. The food is second to none, there pies are outstanding. Good choice of beers , will be returning .

My friend lives in Sheffield suggest me this pub. Their pie are amazing, definitely better than chained pie restaurant I tried before. Their chips are surprisingly good even they are sides only, mushed peas and mashed potato are very nice too.

A Sheffield must. Never disappointed by a Notty House pie: range of pies including some seasonal and veggie/vegan ones, crispy chips, great portion size and perfect with Hendo’s and a drink. My failsafe favourite is the (vegan) veggie mince and onion.

Amazingly simple menu of pies with chips or mash. Pastry is to die for. Chips were like best ever chip shops chips. All utterly delicious. Vegan mushroom and chestnut pie best pie partner had ever had, included vegan gravy. Atmosphere and service great.

Lovely cosy pub with the best pies I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. Nice and flaky pastry, delicious fillings and a choice of mash or chips. The mushy peas are excellent as well! There are also several vegetarian/vegan pie options (if they don’t run out - try to go early if you want choice). Would highly recommend!

My son told me about this place he had mentioned the quality pies so we all went to try and give them a try and boy we weren’t disappointed they were excellent. The four of us all had different pies you could have chips or mash with peas and a gravy boat I chose steak and ale and it was delicious.
