Called in today while passing, ordered a Haddock and Chips and a Fishcake and Chips and Curry sauce, had to wait for the Haddock to be cooked fresh , both meals were very tasty, beautiful white flakes of Haddock, gorgeous crispy batter and the chips were very well cooked. The staff were very friendly too, Will definitely be going back for more and recommend to everyone.

Absolutely the best chipy by far friendly smiling staff even in such busy hectic surrounding nothing too much for the staff and food amazing also great value for money 2 adult meals and drinks plus 2 kids meals and drinks plus bread and butter £27 bargain well done and thankyou can't wait to come back.

This is the best chippy haddock I've ever had. Really, really nice. The portion on their website doesn't do it justice, they are massive! Crispy batter, cooked all the way through, tasty, proper nice chips, lovely. The place is clean, modern and homely. I also saw a member of staff meticulously cleaning down a high chair, the fabric straps, everything. I don't doubt their cleanliness. Also, the young girl that served us was so smiley and friendly, nothing too much trouble. I'd definitely go here again. Well worth the (cheap) money.

Dear Daddy, I’ve just returned from Attercliffe, a neighborhood I know you spend a lot of time in. I came for the fish and chips at FryMaster, a place I know you love going to several nights a week. I was confused initially, given that the business clearly has very restrictive lunchtime-only opening times. Was this the right place? Is this where you spend your evenings? I know you like it at FryMaster, I know Daddy likes it here very much, so I assume I went to the right place. I went for what I can only guess is your usual order - haddock and chips, something I was assured was a ‘classic’. Sitting down with my polystyrene box of delights from the beige buffet, I pictured you here. Content with your own company, responding to very real urges, enjoying all-important Daddy-time. I felt like I got to know another side of you today. Daddy, I’ll be honest with you, I horsed this meal into me. I had a gluttonous hunger on me, one that needed satiating pronto. Lacking adequate cutlery, I attacked the food with sweaty hands, lustfully ripping off hunks of battered fish before sending them gob-ward. Like you presumably do, I suckled on the nozzle of the vinegar bottle in between munches. Parched, and without change for a Coke, it seemed the correct thing to do. No one stepped in or stopped me, so I went ahead. I get the impression this is a place where men’s needs are respected and indulged. Daddy, I know exactly why you come here so regularly now. Superb - hidden away restaurant at the back of the front of house take away counter, a Special family recipe batter encompasses the nicely cooked fish, whilst the chips fried in beef dripping are a winner, the service cannot be grumbled about. As sit down fish and chips restaurants go, I'd give this a six if I could . Open from 11.30 through to 2.30 every day except Sunday
