This is a beautiful old English pub nesting on the edge of some beautiful countryside. From the second you walk through the door, you are transported back in time with the new but retro decorations. The food is excellent 👌 great value, and fantastic quality. It's definitely a place to visit, especially if you're planning a nice walk. I think dogs are welcome, but I would check beforehand.

Very tasty thick cut beef nice mashed and roast potatoes lovely Yorkshire pudding.

The best Sunday lunch I've had for years.
Excellent service the staff can't do enough for you. I had beef it was so tasty with fresh vegetables lovely mashed potatoes and tasty gravy.
It's a lovely pub we will definitely be back.

Attended our friends wedding on Saturday and what a welcome! We were all so very well looked after. The pub, the bar, the beer garden are all warm, welcoming and decorated to a high standard. Thank you for the delicious food, wide range of drinks and friendly service.
