Great little coffee shop. I asked if my dog could come in and he was welcomed in and given a bowl of water. Ordered a cappuccino with (what looked like a homemade) cranberry cookie -both delicious. Food menu made me wish I hadn't had lunch half an hour before. Friendly service, great coffee and interesting food....what more do you want in a coffee shop?
Brilliant food, excellent coffee and the staff are always lovely. Can't recommend this place enough.

A swing by Elm for brunch a few weeks back,
Located just by the hallamshire hospital.
🍂🍁We called by expecting to grab a bagel but they don't do these anymore and are in the middle of changing their seasonal menus - we can't wait to see what's coming for autumn!
Instead we picked up a couple of savoury bakes;
🥐A little bakoula pasty - fileld with baby potatoes, chard, goats cheese and apricot harissa. Topped with sesame and oregano - delicious 😋
🥐We also tried a 'honey bun' which really did have a delicious honey taste, and was filled with creamed leeks, kale, wendleydale cheese, and burnt onion butter.
We also fancied something sweet so tried
🍫a miso caramel brownie
🍰and a slice of lemon and cherry gateau Breton.
❤️All the bakes were next level, fresh and extremely tasty! We really enjoyed. They had lovely staff and even their cute little dog 🐶❤️.
🛍️🍾They also have a lovely little shop area with lots of interesting and organic wines, @sheffield.honey , coffee and other local offerings. We can't wait to call by and try their autumnal offering soon!

Younger gentleman with brown hair is always incredibly lovely and chatty, and I had the most wonderful encounter with another gentleman at elm just earlier today. The service truly is above and beyond. Great atmosphere too.
I cannot recommend more highly.
Lovely vibe and friendly staff. Espresso was good but too dark a roast for my tastes, would be great to see a second lighter and more fruity roast available alongside the current beans.
A nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff were excellent, very friendly. Only tried the coffee but there were no complaints and it wasn't expensive compared to other local coffee shops.

Bought an espresso to take away. Arrived mid morning on a Friday, quiet place. Friendly staff and very tasty coffee.
However at £2.90 a double espresso, it's too expensive.
Very nice place for a relaxed night over wine and delicious food! We got the orange wine (recommend, full bodied white wine with essence of beer), 2 pizzas, celeriac fritters (recommend) and the 3 for £10 deal with cheese/antipasti. Value for money could be slightly improved, but overall really liked the atmosphere and waiter's knowledge and advice. Will be going back!
Very recently opened, this new branch of Upshot Espresso seems a little unfinished. The space is informal and rustic with plenty of exposed brick and wooden floors.
The staff are friendly and the food quality is excellent, but I will say it is not cheap.
It will be interesting to see how the use of space develops as the cafe establishes itself.

Excellent place for a late brunch or coffee in Sheffield. In the same way as her little sister in Glossop street, the Upshot in Gibraltar has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Good savory food but also sweets! Check the peanut butter brownie... is top!
One of my go to coffee spots on my way to university. Coffee is fantastic and the staff are so friendly. Recommend if you want a high quality cup of coffee ☕️
