The pu is lovely and clean, staff friendly and helpful. I hadn't been for some time and usually went through the day when the pub was quiet. This was a Saturday evening, so was getting quite loud. Menu had changed and I was struggling to find something I liked and ended up with the Jamaican Stew which came with pilau rice and flat bred. Had expected veggies in the stew but all there was, were a couple of pieces of spring onion. It was tasty, but I have always thought that stews came with veg.!

New Menu drew us back and we were not disappointed. Booking is advisable , due to being very busy ( especially round tea time 1700hrs onwards ). The welcome was warm , and friendly . attentive staff who took the order in good time. Lots on the new menu to choose from along with some eating challenges . Food was bought out piping hot , and presented very well for pub food. Thanks to Ben and Laura who made our visit and meal enjoyable.
