Frehiwet Habesha - Sheffield - Photo album

I was very delighted when I first discovered this wonderful restaurant. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice and it was a genuinely pleasant experience. The service was fast meaning I didn't have to wait long for food. I would reccomend this restaurant for anyone thinking about trying some dif
What a hidden gem - our first time trying Eritrean food and it was absolutely delicious. The veggie sharing platter was huge and good value, and our server was very friendly.
I came here with my Dad a couple of months back and i have to say it was great, As an Ethiopian I have to say this place had not only given us amazing food but had amazing cultural deco and Ethiopian Music playing in the background. Even though when we were one of the few people there at the time we
Best Ethiopian/Eritrean food I've ever eaten, and I've had my fair share. There's a good representation of this cuisine in Sheffield, but this restaurant stands eminently above the competition. Don't expect much ambience, however the service is very friendly.
Excellent food, generous portions, friendly service, popular with the locals, very good value for money. Despite what you may think based on its appearance from the road, the food was outstanding in a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I had the lamb Key (awaze) tibs with an injera which was ex
Amazing value! The Beye-ayinetu was a feast of different vegetable dishes presented on a large sourdough pancake (injera) with more injera on the side. At £9 this was phenomenal value - probably enough for two hungry vegetarians/vegans! Really friendly and welcoming.
Really good interesting and different Ethiopian/Eritrean food. Don't be put off by the outside or the location of the restaurant. Food all cooked to order so not a place to go if you are in a hurry. Great value as well.
The experience of having something a little different deserves a top rating, the hostess was fantastic, too. Going is highly recommended as the food was delicious, get a variety of stuff to share or a taster dish to get a good sense of variety in flavour. However everything made me feel my pallett
Food was great! Three of us ate one order (vegetarian sampler) and were full. Staff was friendly.
We had really lovely food with friendly service too. We do not understand this cuisine but the menu was descriptive. We wish we live closer so we could visit regularly and work through the menu
One could easily walk past this place, don't. It's not in the main part of the city, surrounded with building works, look through the window and see plastic tablecloths, no cutlery ... ... then one must set aside our cultural expectations. This is very typically Ethiopian / Eritrean. Clean and si
I've been wanting to visit one of Sheffield's Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurants for a long time, and today was finally the day. I can't stop smiling. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant and genuinely felt like I could order anything from the menu and enjoy it, but here I I did feel that way.
Favourite Ethiopian restaurant in Sheffield. Amazingly friendly staff, a huge selection of dishes and the prices are incredible.
The food here was fantastic, lovely staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We were recommended the place by a friend who studied in Sheffield. The food is truly amazing 😍 and service is quick. Really loved it and prices are surprisingly affordable
Amazing food, full of flavour, eith freat portion sizes and good value. Cant wsit to go back again
Great food, absolutely fantasy coffee, and the friendliest, welcoming host.
We've eaten here a few times now, eat in and also take away. We go with our 2 young kids, the place is very friendly. The food is spectacular. I get the veggy platter and my husband always tries a new meat dish and its always amazing. There's pasta for any kids who might not be up for the cuisine 😉
