Amaro Lounge

A new one for me ! I visited @amaro_lounge recently with the girls. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised . The atmosphere is welcoming and decor eclectic, and menus vast without much cultural direction, like some just picked a load of their fave food from random cultures- this normally puts me off if the menu seems confused, but what we tried was good. The menu was limited when we visited (I think due to staff sickness.) So we didn't get to try their amazing looking tapas section of the menu, but we were still very happy with what we chose. We mainly chose this restaurant because of the gluten free menu , which was great for my celiac friend. 🥗🧀I chose a chicken bacon and avocado salad , and we had some halloumi fries on the side. Both were great ! The salad was very filling and tasty , and the halloumi fries portion was huge and they were crumbed and crisp - yum ! 🍹I also tried a pina colada which was fab . 🍔My 4 friends all had different burgers and were all happy ! 🇲🇽We also shared some Churros for dessert which had 2 tasty sauces and were great. Great chilled place with friends.

Recently visited this lounge for the first time. Very welcoming place, comfortable atmosphere, spacious table lay out, amazing vegan options, and great food. Effortless ordering through your phone at the table or at the bar. Even the women's bathroom has a little, thoughtful, basket on the wall that has tampons, pads, and deodorant in it.

Visited this lovely restaurant yesterday as was treating my mum. With two kids in tow, I wanted somewhere where could still have a grown up meal but there were family friendly options and here ticked all the boxes. The staff were lovely, accommodating and very attentive throughout. Food and drinks were delicious and the kids options get a big thumbs up from my children. Will definitely be visiting again.

I don't go out that much but really loving this place. Great food! Great vibes! I've been to the one in Oxford as well and that's also great. Only issue for me is that it says they serve freshly squeezed orange juice but I'm getting the one from the bottle, hope they fix this & make it clear what your getting. However, don't let that put you off from visiting! Hope you enjoy it!

Visited for brunch on a recommendation from a colleague. Extremely clean and very covid secure. Really friendly welcome from the staff. Excellent brunch menu choices with enough variety to suit all tastes, definitely not run of the mill. Filter coffee was really strong and not "wazzy" like some places. Food arrived in a timely manner and was nice and hot. Portion size was excellent as too was the quality, definitely not cheap bacon like in some places. Prices reasonable too. I had the veg breakfast with black pudding which was lovely (am not veggie btw) and my wife had a normal breakfast. Probably go for for the pancakes next time as I will definitely be returning.

We were just walking around the city centre, found this by accident ..looked good from the outside...and one rule by the way ...if you see a lot af people in a restaurant then yes the food must be good, which was the case here...I got the cajun chicken Asian style, really goodd🤤, also chicken wings with halloumi and chips ...simple but effective 😁., good food, good restaurant! Highly recommend it!
