Great traditional pub. Real ales all well looked after. Cosy real fire.
Proper old pub (not just old-style pub) with very broad customer base. Dog friendly, great range of beers on tap, decent menu including pies. Visiting with my student son, who swears it's the best pub in Sheffield.
Had an amazing Sunday beef roast. Meat was perfect, gravy rich and full of subtle delicious herb flavours. Roast potatoes exquisite. Veg perfectly done.. not too soft. …
A very cosy and inviting pub. Great service and good value. A good selection of drinks, and very well cooked food at a competitive price. The chips are the best I have ever tasted. I was spoilt for choice when looking through the menu, and there is something for all dietary requirements.
We can't really dudge this pub cause it is always a meeting point for us and friends after uni. I would recommend it for drinks but not for food.
Had a lovely Christmas dinner for two on Saturday. Highly recommend! The staff were really attentive too.
