Nice place for a drink with some good choices of beer and cider

Just popped in for a quick drink during an overnight stop in Sheffield. Had a lovely pint of Stout which was a new one to me - I'd definetly have it again if I'm lucky enough to stumble across it.
Service was good. The pub was very busy with people eating and drinking - the menu was good and a good selection for non-meat eaters too and reasonably priced. We already had plans to eat so didn't eat on this occasion.
Decent pub, would visit again.

Went to a works Christmas dinner. Great food, impressive for a pub. Good, friendly atmosphere and nice staff. Wide range of beers etc.

Great pub. I met some friends here pre Xmas. The ales are delicious. We played one of the games they have here for all to play

Had a great time at the pub quiz. Really interactive and great hosts. Drinks are cheap. Didn't have the food but my friends enjoyed their meals

Brilliant real pub in the heart of the city. Food is good, ales are good, staff are great and Tuesday nights pub quiz is brilliant!

This little pub has been well known for years if you like great beers and a great atmosphere. With real open fires to give you a warm cosy Christmas feeling along with great staff food and drinks this pub buzzes. The only problem with writing this review is I may find it difficult to get a seat in here.
