The Red Deer - Sheffield - Photo album

Traditional pub run by a lovely family. BRILLIANT FOOD and wide range of beer. Our family & friends party booked the upstairs room which was old-fashioned tables and seats set-up, clean but could do with redecoration. Please support traditional pubs, they are at risk from city development vultures a
Fantastic food, no complaints at all! They have a great selection of beers, staff are friendly.
Food is absolutely amazing (and the amount of GOOD gluten free options doubly so). Drinks are a wee bit limited even by pub standards but it IS a small bar area, so that's fair
Always liked going to this pub. Good location but also slightly out of the way. Friendly staff and a nice, friendly atmosphere inside.
The first pub I went into when I moved to Sheffield in 1977. The decor is low on my priority list for a pub,but it has been made more comfortable, without losing its simple charm. Great beer, simple but nice bar food, but most of all a real pub experience, and one I have been going to for over 45 ye
In the Sheffield Heritage pub guide. A minute walk from the main road. Sadly apart from a few AFC Wimbledon fans it was us and one local. The pub is up for lease. Hope it survives. Had a lovely pint of Adnams Broadside.
Great pub with Gluten Free and Celiac friendly options too. Excellent value for money and family friendly too with great sized children's options as well. Would definitely be back.
Yummy Sunday lunch. Good selection of drinks. Staff friendly and helpful.
Brilliant old fashion pub, with a great food menu, reasonably priced. Fantastic range of real ales, ciders and largers, all at competitive prices. A good day and only a short walk from Sheffield city centre.
We really, really enjoyed it here. Came recommended and we weren't disappointed. Excellent real ale. The menu looked great, we'll eat there next time. Just what you want in a pub.
The food was very good and well made. We ate Sunday Roast, Gammon and Fish and Chips but there are many more English traditional dishes you can chose from. The service and staff were very friendly. The place is nice and has a beer garden with heating. It also has many board games for the costumers t
A true 'Oasis', the Red Deer has stayed the same whilst others nearby have 'improved'(ha). Please keep doing what you do. Welcoming, no intrusive 'washing machine music', a cross section of customers and last but not least................SUPERB BEER SELECTION.
I can't really comment on the food but it's a nice traditional pub with a decent outside area and a Great beer selection so what's not to like
We found this pub in CAMRA Good Beer Guide. It really is a gem. Friendly welcome, good food and most importantly, excellent beer. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fabulous. Great food! Iam coeliac, and was catered for with the best understanding of my condition, I was completely comfortable eating here! Thank you again, we will return.
Great local pub. Wide range of beers. Cosy atmosphere.
Good old original pub. Lots of great ales to choose from. Great pint of Guinness 👍
Liking the gluten free options on the menu. Beer range not the best in a town of good beer
It was ok, fun & relaxed atmosphere, smells a bit of old drinks & a bit dingy but to be expected in a characterful old pub. Great service. It was interesting looking at all the old beer handle labels on the ceiling and people-watching :-)
