Wow the food was amazing here. And the allergen menu was fabulous and made life really easy for us that are gluten & dairy intolerant.
The service was friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere was lovely, we sat at a regular table but there are swing sets for some tables too.
Nice drinks menu too.
Recommend booking, we booked on the day of visiting and had only a very small window of available seats so good to think ahead of wanting to go.

Great Indian street food-inspired food with lots of very tempting veggie and vegan options. The lovely atmosphere ties in with the street food vibe with nice lighting and wood and metal details. Great service, staff are very helpful.
Between two we went for about 6 small dishes which was more than enough and everything was great. The chip butty and fish curry were definitely my favourites, so flavoursome and delicious. As were the yoghurt chat bombs, never had anything like them! Nice cocktails too, with Indian-inspired flavours.
Mowgli Street Food in Sheffield offers a decent dining experience. While the food is tasty, it falls slightly short in terms of authenticity, as it's less spicy than traditional Indian cuisine. However, their mango lassi and mutton dishes stand out positively. One downside was the dry rice, which could have been better. And, compared to the portion size they offer it’s a bit overpriced. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy a flavorful meal with a few minor improvements.
What a little gem of a place! We were staying in sheffield for 2 nights to celebrate my 2 nieces birthdays. One picked mowgli to eat at the first night we were there. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff. To be fair, every staff member that dealt with us was all smiles and super friendly! We were seated at the swing table which we loved! The food came out hot, fresh and delicious! We had cocktails and my niece tried the orange wine, which she liked. We ordered too many dishes to name but trust me, every one was gorgeous! The disappointing thing is we live too far from sheffield to return!
Really great experience. Service was really friendly and super fast. Everyone really loved their food and my cocktail was great as well. Good selection of plant based food and it was really great that the allergen information was on the back of the menu. The atmosphere was also lovely and the decor was excellent! Will absolutely be coming back!
I visited a few days ago and had a good time with lovely food and even better service. I went to the bar and asked Hollie for recommendations on the cocktails she was making, she was very attentive and got the selection just right! The service of all the staff was excellent and made the experience worth while.

The menu provides choices for all dietary preferences, and the team are knowledgeable and helpful. We were looked after very well by Ellie.
It's dog friendly too. Our pooch was looked after with water and much fussing, which he loved.

I loved the whole ‘jungle book’ ambience, staying true to the name of the restaurant. The seating and decor was on point. Rustic and elegant at the same time. Especially liked the lighting and the swing seats by the window. The food was good although the portion size seemed a bit small. Limited vegetarian options. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. All in all, it was a good experience.
