The staff were really nice, very attentive and friendly. They were able to accommodate a table for 7 and a dog without a reservation, which was amazing!
The food was really tasty. We had a variety of pies between us, and everyone enjoyed it. The menu accommodates for vegetarians and vegans which is a huge plus. Only slight complain would be that the mash was a bit cold. But overall we really enjoyed it here. The lunch menu deal is a good offer! We'll definitely be going back.
The food is really good. However the service isn’t the best… staff have been a bit funny with us a few times now. Regardless the pie is fab. Would recommend the Sunday deal!!
First time visiting, got the Moolin Rouge as part of the Sunday Best offer where you get any any pie with a Yorkshire pud, little sausage and some pork scratchings. Was very nice! One friend had an issue with the vegan mash but this was resolved quickly and courteously.
Simple but effective, very moorish pies .
Not a massive choice or larger and ales, I had a Czechoslovakian larger which was very nice, but possibly not to everyones taste
Service was spot on , although I went at a quiet period there was still a funky vibe in a steampunk style atmosphere.
Was lovely, had the Moo Moo pie which is steak, went for the Sunday roast deal with stuffing. But a lovely welcoming environment and however some staff struggle to crack a smile. But the food- can’t fault it. Amazing for the pie lovers.

Ordered a tikka pie and realised when I got home that it did not come with an onion Bhaji on top.
It’s still very nice but could have been nicer if come complete.
I am not a big fan of pies but this Indian inspired pie is a very great addition to the menu. It’s very tasty.
There is only one staff member serving the whole place. He had to do literally everything except cooking. He was very nice and I feel sad for him. this branch may be short staffed. He really needs some help.
Great pies they have! We ordered a Tikka To Ride and a Moolin Rouge, and both tasted great.
Delicious pies at reasonable prices. They didn't have exactly the pie I wanted but had the Free Ranger instead and wasn't disappointed. Their house lager was also decent. My mate had the Tikka To Ride and a side of coleslaw. They said both were stunning. I would definitely recommend this place for casual dates or family meals. One small criticism would be the paper they put under the pies gets soggy and one has to be careful to not eat a piece of it. But that's honestly so minor and the quality of food more than makes up for it.
Great restaurant. The prices here are really good. Unfortunately they are short in quite a few items at the moment, but they had a delicious vegan pie option, which was great for me and my milk intolerance. The waitress was kind enough to explain the menu to me, and seemed genuinely enthused about the vegan options. There was a surprisingly large amount of food, and it was presented nicely. It was quiet when we were there too. I’d definitely recommend it.
Nice comfort food would recommend giving it a try
