This is a lovely hotel, interestingly converted from a technical college, with photos reflecting its history. It was clean, warm and comfortable. It’s a relaxed hotel handy for the centre& not far from the station. The building is a large old school with loads of character and modern conveniences. The bar looks out over a quiet and attractive square with a number of food outlets so you don’t have to go far for a choice of eateries.

Very nice room. well kept. good amenities. The parking discounted is a 7 minute walk away. Had my luggage and the pavements were very slippery so took a bit longer. Great location loads of restaurants around. Got a parking ticket as i was in the loading bay for 5 minutes more than allotted so watch
Stopped over at the Leopold for a works Christmas party. My room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, and an excellent shower! Also had the breakfast which was good quality. Only downside was that my room overlooked a wall, but location made up for this.
