This is actually on Leopold Square, which is very much a happening place to be in Sheffield, and the bed is one of the comfiest we've slept on for quite some time 👍🏻 Breakfast was good as well. No complaints at all.

I come here fairly regularly for business meetings with my fellow managers. It is a restful place, the staff are really nice & the rooms are spot on. Formerly a boys school & there are many b&w photographic reminders of its history which does add to its appeal. It is situated close to a number of restaurants and pubs too - if you like that sort of thing as much as I do 🙂

Amazing service, nothing too much trouble. Lovely room, with all the you could need. One down side is we could not open a window in the room. Thanks for making our wedding day special.

Came down from Manchester to go see a live performance at Sheffield city hall. Perfect place if you're visiting around Central Sheffield. Walking distance to all the bars and there's a bar inside the hotel so have a drink or 2 before leaving for the night out and on the way bk to the hotel you can wobble out of a club or pub and fall into a hotel bedroom. We had a nice and quite nights stay over with a good breakfast in the morning Would recommend a room at the front of the building as everything seems to be around the back. Would visit again 💯.

Lovely old looking hotel wish an amazing history. Lack of parking was a pain and trying to find somewhere to park a disabled van wasn't easy. Side lift to get people in was a pain especially having a table at the top. Rooms adequate and all that u you. Food was OK however no tomato sauce for our stay?

I would like to say big thanks to Angus and Robin on reception for being so accommodating and welcoming. On arrival it became clear that I booked the wrong date! I was a little lost at this moment but they reassured me that it happens and it’s not a big deal and then just took care of everything. Angus moved the dates for me and the only thing I needed is do is to press “confirm” on my mobile. Robin made me a great G&T. :) After this life was completely back on truck. It worth mentioning that team pays attention to guest booking requests. I asked for two duvets and indeed there were two duvets in my room on arrival, even though they had very little time to prepare the room. The restaurant serves food till late and is quite cosy with a good selection of drinks. Our room was clean, spacious and comfy. The building is beautiful with fascinating history, it’s a shame we didn’t stay long enough to explorer it. Overall we had a great stay.

What a bargain! Only £104 to stay a night - we stayed Friday. The room was lovely, we received a friendly welcome and check in/out was totally painless. We collapsed into bed after an incredible meal at Grazie across the road. Interesting history - Joe Cocker went to school in this building before it was transformed into a hotel 🙂 the chilled cans of water in the mini fridge were a lovely touch. Thank you, guys 🙏

Can not fault this hotel at all. Had a lovely staff. It was clean and well maintained, staff were very friendly. Was heading to the arena for a concert and you can catch the tram literally round the corner. Great location, plenty of bars and shops around the hotel. Will definitely be staying here again. 5/5

What an amazing hotel. Great location for the city centre, short walk to the Luxe cinema, to the Crucible, to the Lyceum. Room clean and warm. Staff amazing. Breakfast plentiful and hot. What more could you want. Very nice. Strongly recommend you book local restaurants on a Saturday night as they were fully booked at 5.30pm and we couldn't do any walk-ins!

Stopped over at the Leopold for a works Christmas party. My room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, and an excellent shower! Also had the breakfast which was good quality. Only downside was that my room overlooked a wall, but location made up for this.
