We had a kids party here and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was divine, and the space allocated was great.

Recently refurbished it has ample parking, garden area and a handful of smart bedrooms. Everywhere was spotless.
Plenty of selection to chose from on the lunch
Had a nice time here after the beautiful refurb - I'd like to hear some music on not just sport whilst eating, but that's a personal preference :-)
The food was a little odd in my book; I will be back to try because it seems very good... its funny but the flavours were just odd choices. For instance

We called in for lunch and found the pub to be very welcoming and friendly, we had the beef pie with chunky chips and veg it was well cooked and came with an extra pot of thick gravy, the service was excellent, there was a good choice of beer and lager including ale from the local Abbeydale brewery
The food was quite nice. We all had pie. I had fish pie. There was plenty of seafood inside. The veg were cooked nicely too.
