We have been using Tony's as our main fish and chips takeaway for over 30 years, Tony himself was the owner back then but Rob who owns it now worked there as the cook when Tony was off so he had the best apprenticeship. I'm happy to say that when Rob took over the standard stayed just as high as ever. The fish is always delicious and the chips are not too dry and not too greasy just right. We have tried many other places even at the seaside where the fish is the same day fresh but never can wait to get back home to the best fish and chips ever!!

If you love traditional fish and chips you need to visit this little shop! cooked in dripping beautiful crispy batter made to there recipe I've been going for over 20 years since I moved to the area the chip shops been there nearly 100 years so they have had time to perfect there recipes chunky white fish and fresh chips no time for kebabs in this little shop very friendly staff need to Que but well worth the wait but just a little warning the que is long on Fridays

Tony’s – widely regarded to be Sheffield’s best fish n chips. There was a queue out the door, but they food was well worth waiting for. The fish and chips there been cooked to a “secret” recipe for over 100 years.

First time going to Tony’s but it was amazing. The fish was lovely, even the batter! Chips were really tasty and everything was fresh, definitely will be going again. :)

Best chippy in Sheffield, simple as that. The food speaks for itself, always top-notch. You may have to queue tho, but that tells you all you need to know!

I've never been here before, despite walking past for years, but it being cash only has meant that its been on the "I must remember to get cash out and go there". Finally did today and the food was delicious! I got 2 x fish and a large chips and that was more than enough for 2 of us. The staff were friendly and efficient. I'll definitely come back

By far the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and that’s a big accolade considering I lived in Devon for three years the fish is absolutely delicious and although I’m not I’m not a fan of potatoes in any form I always eat every last one of the generous portion wel done Tony’s 👌

I called in with my sister. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were polite and friendly. We had chips, cod and peas. The chips were soft, the batter on the fish was thin and crispy, well cooked. The peas were perfect. I'll be making a 7 mile drive in future from manor park to eat from here in future
