The Eighteen Ten bar and restaurant, opposite Sheffield arena is a smart, modern building with ample parking spaces located behind the building.
My trip on 15/04/2022 consisted of myself,a friend and his eleven year old daughter on a sunny bank holiday (Easter Friday),mid afternoon.
Inside you find a spacious, well presented, clean bar which was fairly quiet but with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We ordered drinks and sat outside in the large and very pleasant beer garden.
For starters we had Brie Dippers, Mexican Nachos and a kids chicken dipper which turned up up around ten minutes later and were hot, tasty and looked great.
Main course was Ultimate Beef Burger and Cowboy Burger which was brought to us around 5 minutes after we finished the starters which we found impressive. Once again our food was hot, well presented and tasted great.
The bar staff and waiting staff were friendly and attentive,we were asked twice during our visit if everything was fine which was great service. Even the sometimes difficult to please eleven year old was impressed.
To sum up a very pleasant experience, very reasonable prices and I will certainly return and recommend.

Great pub, good food and they're dog friendly. Convenient for the DSA Arena too, it's always busy before a hockey game or a gig. We usually call for a pint once a week and walk round with our dog, the staff love him and are always really friendly and welcoming, someone always brings him a bowl of water too. The outdoor seating is decent and there's a covered area in case it rains. I only stopped short of 5 stars because they don't have any craft beer on tap... Sheffield is the home of craft beers and almost every pub in Sheffield has some sort of BrewDog or Beavertown on tap. Unfortunately EighteenTen only has cask ales or lager on tap. Still, the Kaltenberg lager is good.
Edit - 31/03/2022 - Visited today and tried out the new menu. I ordered the Ultimate Burger and it was delicious. The patties had a nice flame grilled flavour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My other half got a standard burger and a few onions rings. She also enjoyed the burger but the onion rings were a bit soggy and sorry looking. The new menu is definitely an improvement and I recommend checking it out.

We had an early birthday meal, enjoying the 30% off voucher we received via email after reserving, which could be used with the app or at the till.
I had a Mega Mixed Grill and and my partner the Hunters Chicken.
The Mega Mixed Grill was cooked absolutely perfect and was indeed mega, to the extend that I couldn't finish it completely. The Hunters Chicken was a big succulent chicken breast, covered in a good layer of bacon and cheese in BBQ sauce. As dessert we choose the Chocolate Sundae and we opted for the share version. It is massive and we could only finish half. They do various sizes of meals and have smaller portions during the day, so don't be put off by the large quantity shown on these photos.
They are easy to reach from the motorway or from Sheffield town and near the Arena. The parking is ample and there is a significant area reserved for disabled parking. Accessibility is great and the facilities are kept nice and clean. The tabled area we were seated was separate from the bar area and although there was the usual noise and background music we could have a normal conversation.
We will most certainly return.

Chanced upon Eighteen Ten after walking the 5 Weirs Walk from Sheffield (great walk!). We were attracted by the “2 roast dinners for £12” sign which seemed great value, especially on a Su day when most establishments put their Sunday roast prices up!
The food was fairly typical pub grub but perfectly acceptable and a good portions. It’s convenient for Meadowhall shopping centre too.
The staff were friendly and efficient so all in all a good place to visit.

Don't know why people are dabbing on this place.
You order a burger and chips and you get a nice burger and chips. The meat tastes different from other pubs but that aint a bad thing.
Refillable drinks on site and plenty of parking 3 hour max stay for free
Usually cheaper than other local pubs and great if you come during the week.
Never had an issue with wait times except at the bar but the food comes out pretty quick
Currently at the table on a friday at 6pm
Would reccommend the knockout bueger with a pound of chips if you want a cheap filling meal

Came in on Saturday the most friendliest staff in a pub . Was busy as something was on at the arena but this didn’t phase or change the atmosphere . Want to go to a pub And made to feel welcome this is it when going to pubs you have locals which they did in here and they even made us feel welcome we was playing pool and was made to feel welcome by the staff and particularly two locals sat next to the pool table very friendly. We was visiting and staying at the local premier inn glad we found you quick service pool table and friendly staff “Thank-you . The strong bow dark slush was nice we had 3 .. brain freeze 😂

Hubby and I had dropped off our car at Autoglass to have its damaged windscreen replaced, so as if was going to take a couple of hours, decided to take a walk to find somewhere to eat. Found the Eighteen Ten which is only a few minutes walk from the Autoglass Centre.
We sat outside in the sun.
Ordered the gammon and chips with fried egg and pineapple. Delicious. Cooked to perfection and the drinks went down a treat too! Staff were friendly and efficient. Would certainly eat/drink there again.

Top food, fast service, slightly overpriced for the level, but 4 stars for quality and overall. Parking is £5, the Arena is 5 mins walk and £12.50 🤫

Lovely huge pub… the staff run it so well, you can tell they have a good work environment and I love to see it.
The manager and all staff are honestly lovely people and I’ve also had food there twice both times different things from the menu, which was so so good…if you see staff smiling I always think it speaks volumes

Been here many times due to the great customer service that the staff provided. They always great you with a warm welcome followed with a smile. The pub is well spaced, clean and tidy.
Meals are served within a few minutes so it won't leave those tummies rumbling for too long.
The food is always served at good temperature. Not too hot and not too cold so you or your children won't burn yourself at the same time. The meals are at a well prepared size so there's not always enough room for dessert but it's always a good choice to leave room for dessert as they are so delicious and cannot be missed. There's many options on the menus available so you won't go hungry.
The soft drinks are refilable so it's always a good option if your not wanting a alcoholic drink.
This is a family friendly pub and is in a good location especially by the arena so it's a good option for meals or a drink for when events are on at the arena
It also has a good sized carpark

The disabled facilities aren't very well sign posted
Good entrance area, ramps were clean and clear of rubbish
Food was fast to arrive and was hot. We had the classic chicken burger and the cowboy burger. We also had the apple crumble and custard and jam sponge with custard with a cup of tea.
Reasonably priced

It pains me to say ..been here a few times and had lovely food and the staff have been so friendly and helpful. .. but last night went for a nice meal but sadly not ... we had fish n chips and scampi n chips ... the worst fish n chips ever ... a tiny bit of fish covered in heaps of burnt batter ... hardly any fish. . Very very disappointing. ..and although we got a free pint for it the staff didnt seem that bothered .. we wont be rushing back.

I'm giving this place a 5 star before I've even eaten my meal....I'm here with my daughter and Mum and my daughter is gluten and dairy free which is usually a nightmare but not here Sarah who waited on us is so obliging....checked all the foods contents were gluten and dairy free even the chef brought the boxes out to prove they were all free from.... never had such amazing treatment well done guys seriously well done xx

The staff were great and friendly! The steak was amazing, the chorizo pizza was greasy and too much cheese. The masala chips wasn't as described on the menu, was just a seasoning on the top, no red onion and no mint yogurt like it says on the menu, was disapointed! Wasn't even busy for them to miss things like that.

So, we had lunch and it was 4 of us, 2 adults, 2 children...
We ordered 2 kids meals and a dough balls starter, got the kids starters cheesy nachos, and the cheese was solid, couldnt even get the nachos from underneath. Doughballs came and the were as hard a golfballs, overcooked. We asked them to be changed and they were just as bad.
3 other tables that ordered after us got their mains before us...
I ordered what sounded like a popper burger, beef, buttermilk chicken, pulled pork... Got it anf it had an overpowering fishy taste all the way through kids waffles had clearly been refried... All in all £40 that i am guttered i have spent on this poor meal.

Had a fantastic lunch there this afternoon
The rib-eye steak was faultless would definitely recommend this place

Went on a Friday night and basically wasted £27 the service was absolutely shocking it took half an hour for our starters to come out then about another 45 minutes for our mains the food was lovely when it eventually made it to our table... The place where we were seated was freezing cold, our refillable drinks were flat I’m sad to say we won’t be going back and definitely wouldn’t be recommending this restaurant to none of our friends or family... the place really needs a wake up call!!

Such a shame, when it was Arena Square it was lovely food, unfortunately our food tonight was disappointing, warmed up food, although the waitress was lovely, won’t be returning.

Sunday afternoon. Quiet. Service painfully slow. Burger took an hour to arrive and must have been on the grill for the full hour. Verging on being cremated and inedible. Prefered the old pub to be honest.

7 of us turned up to eat on Thursday evening, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were lovely and the food was great, a great place to meet, we will be back! X
