We recently held the reception at The Rising Sun following my Mother's funeral. The staff couldn't have been more helpful making the arrangements. Everything was ready on our arrival, the buffet freshly prepared and brought out hot. The food was plentiful and catered for varied tastes. The area we used was nicely laid out, clean and well presented and the seating arranged so groups could be together. Would highly recommend for similar occasions.

Absolutely fantastic! Had Christmas dinner here with the family today. What can I say! It was absolutely wonderful, succulent turkey and amazing fresh vegetables. The waitress was lovely and couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We will definitely be booking for 2024. Thank you for making our Christmas so memorable.

My wife and i thought we'd try the Rising Sun for a change. Everything was OK except for my steak on my mixed grill. I asked for medium but it was really well done like chewing a Wellington boot and my wife had the Duo which is half a chicken and gammon but she only got a chicken leg, apart from that spot on
