Tremendous pub with real character, a great beer selection and friendly staff. A pity we only had time for one, but we loved the beer garden and will definitely come back.
Friendly old-school pub, with a great selection of ales on tap. Ales regularly change and include a good mix of pale, bitter, stouts and craft etc. Apparently 80 whiskies available too.

Excellent Sheffield pub near the Kelham Island Museum. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited including three imperial stouts ranging in strength from 10.6 to 12.0 abv! Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered.

My first visit to this pub as a guest DJ for Room At The Top . I arrived to a brass band playing in the beer garden with a happy crowd listening in . The bar is stocked with a great selection of Ales . The service is prompt and friendly . It is a nice old style pub with a great welcoming atmosphere
Great bar we stumbled across on the way back from Kelham Island to the city centre. Really good range of drinks available, great outdoor space and really relaxed and welcoming vibe indoors. Dart board also available

This place is a little gem in Sheffield with such welcoming atmosphere! Great selection of beer, whiskey and gin for very reasonable prices! We've visited several times since we moved in, and it was always a great experience. They also have a lovely seating area outside!
Hadn’t been here for a couple of years but it’s thriving, a hit with the locals and the students. Beer as decent as ever.
Possibly the best pub in Sheffield. They always have a great selection of beers. Good music and a really eclectic, eccentric array of furniture and clientèle.
A "proper" pub with lots of little rooms and separate areas, plenty of cask beer from locally plus guests, and a big range of guest craft keg beers from pretty much anywhere! Huge range of whisky too.
Argyle on tour. Needed a real ale after getting thumped by Wednesday!! This place is cool. Took a bit of time to find it. It has bags of character, is well frequented and a cracking ambiance. No frills....just a good choice of beers and snacks. Happy staff buzzing around. Most of the walls are cover
Very friendly independent pub, full of oldeworldy character. Nice, chilled, welcoming vibe as first timers. Would go back.
