It is without a doubt Sheffields' best pub , the beer is always on song , great quirky brews , thanks for the Christmas Snowball stout , one of the most impressive lists of World beers in bottles in the country , don't ever let the ba***rds at the City Council try to turn you into a 5 star hotel , just keep doing what you do so well .

Tremendous pub with real character, a great beer selection and friendly staff. A pity we only had time for one, but we loved the beer garden and will definitely come back.
Friendly old-school pub, with a great selection of ales on tap. Ales regularly change and include a good mix of pale, bitter, stouts and craft etc. Apparently 80 whiskies available too.
Atmospheric decor of old brewery pump clips and memorabilia. Toilets were clean. There's an outside courtyard. Sausage rolls/pork pies and crisps available.
A gorgeous quirky pub in Sheff with the loveliest of staff. So much to look at and an incredible beer selection. Super recommend

Excellent Sheffield pub near the Kelham Island Museum. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited including three imperial stouts ranging in strength from 10.6 to 12.0 abv! Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered.
What a gem of a pub, great beer, great food, great atmosphere. A time capsule of a pub keeping all the best traditions with a modern touch.
My first visit to this pub as a guest DJ for Room At The Top . I arrived to a brass band playing in the beer garden with a happy crowd listening in . The bar is stocked with a great selection of Ales . The service is prompt and friendly . It is a nice old style pub with a great welcoming atmosphere . The function room upstairs is a good space with a decent wooden dancefloor . I had been recommended here before and it lived up to it's great reputation .
Great bar we stumbled across on the way back from Kelham Island to the city centre. Really good range of drinks available, great outdoor space and really relaxed and welcoming vibe indoors. Dart board also available

This place is a little gem in Sheffield with such welcoming atmosphere! Great selection of beer, whiskey and gin for very reasonable prices! We've visited several times since we moved in, and it was always a great experience. They also have a lovely seating area outside!
