The Food is home cooked, and freshly prepared, accept the fact you have to wait after you order and you will not be disappointed.
The let down with landlords the Pub is brewary owned and the drinks price set and well over the top for the area it serves, in my case a pint of cider and brandy £11, where we normally pay less than £8 anywhere else.

I've never tried food here, I'm not even sure they do it but I can tell you Friday night karaoke is great. The locals are all lovely and friendly as are the staff.

Went for a meal on recommendation from Google, and to be honest, this is a little gem, and all the good feedback wasn't lying. Good staff, food was excellent, will worth a visit.

The Hoy family would like to say a massive thank you to Karen and her team for the amazing send off we had for mum at The Crown today, the buffet was amazing and on what was a sad day, it is such a nice place for mums family and friends to get together and remember mum.

Absolutely disgusting, I was there for a Christening, no food came out for 2.00pm nearer 3.00pm, the prawns were frozen, only 3 meals came out and people had to wait for the gravy which made the meal cold, the so called beef looked like packet beef. One adult had to go and fetch food from the fish shop to feed the children the so called cook never came out to appologised or anything, it wasn't very professional
