The charm of this delightful cafe is the simplicity of its surroundings and menu. I've made three visits with a relative, but we've only tried tea and toasted cheese sandwiches so far, as they're so good! Presented really well too.
Thank you to the lovely staff for being so warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be back again....and again!

My 4 yr olds favourite cafe, so well set up for kids of older ages too. Lovely community local feel to it. Great board games, lovely tea and good cakes. Only wish menu was a bit more extensive but perfectly good (basic) sandwiches. Great box of Lego and really friendly staff.

Perfect place for a coffee and cake 🍰☕ the spiced chai and carrot slice is amazing! Really friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Lovely sunny window seats, perfect for relaxing or getting a bit of work done. Lots of charging points available with UBS plugs or normal sockets. thank you!! 🥰

Fantastic little placewith warm, friendly customer service and a varied menu set in tastefully designed surroundings. The bakewell tart is the best I've tasted and that includes ones from Bakewell itself. I highly recommmend.

Lovely little cafe with nice tea, coffee and treats at a very good price. Service was friendly and fast and you can tell there is a local pride behind each cup. They cater for little ones too and we're happy to ammend an order to suit dietary needs.
The local pictures on the wall are a lovely touch and the basket of duplo to keep the kids happy is a welcome addition.

Wonderful cafe in Crosspool that celebrates as much local produce as possible. Service is fast with warm, Yorkshire friendliness and conversation. Catered easily for dietary needs and happy to adjust orders as required, nothing is too much trouble. Delicious cakes (including gluten free), local coffee and full range of teapig teas and of course Yorkshire tea for us die hard fans. Great selection of books giving cosy, relaxed atmosphere and the baskets of duplo such a welcome addition for the little ones. A real favourite of me and my son!

When you have time this is a great place to sit and read the paper or browse your tablet. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is excellent. Its also a great place to get some time out to do some work. Glynn and Debs are both fantastic. A++++
