Not been there long, but we had Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely. I had the roast baguette and my partner had the roast beef dinner. It was lush.

Excellent quality compared to cafes nearby. Reasonably priced with quality ingredients. We enjoyed full English, some coffee and cake. Top marks! Ambience is quirky but it works. Host is caring and gives personal attention to every order.

Lovely eclectic decor. I enjoyed a refreshing fruity iced drink (impressed with the metal straw it came with!), Cottage pie and chips were delicious. The cakes looked very tempting, must try them next time!

Really lovely staff, a small but fantastic menu. Rustic and chaotic furniture that somehow managed to be very homely and welcoming. Highly recommended if you live around or are passing through Crookes.

Had breakfast here a few weeks back, lovely panini, nice hot coffee, friendly staff. I like it. Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area. No card machine unfortunately so just be aware.

I think the first thing to say is that the welcome and hospitality here is wonderful. I also love the decor. Food is homely but of good quality Coffee is ok My main issue is that they only take cash

Been in twice now. Once with two prams and a friend, and once without but with a friend. Very friendly cafe. Delicious food made with care. I did feel it was slightly pricey for what I got, but I will return :)
