Great atmosphere, lovely staff and really good range of drinks. Great for a date night in the restaurant, football in the sports area with huge TVs or out with your friends. The beer garden out the back is beautiful.

Busy local pub with friendly staff. A wide & varied drink selection. The ball can be busy at times & sometimes there's a wait at the bar. The food menu has food offers that make already fairly priced food even better value. The portions are a good size. The food is tasty & well presented. I recommen

Writing this off the back of a 13 hour session in here bank holiday Sunday. Back in again, and will continue to do this every Saturday. Great staff, great beer, great company. I for one am always happy to see landlord Michael welcome me with open arms and give us great chat. What a man. What a pub.
The ball is a lovely, cozy, local pub. Amazing food and good beer on tap. Would deffo visit if in the area for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Went in this weekend on the Saturday afternoon and got a couple of booth tables for 9 of us in total - 4 kids on one, 5 adults on the other. Kids were happy as Larry - loads of board and card games available to play and all food was consumed.

Always a friendly atmosphere in this pub. A great selection of beers on tap, and you can always strike up a conversation with one of the locals.
Great place to go to watch the match. Excellent food and great deals. Love the new lunch menu, I had the steak and cheese ciabatta and it was cooked just right and tasted great. Great value for money on both food and drink. Staff always serve with a smile 😃 can't wait to be back!
I’m a regular at the ball and always have a great visit when I’m there. The pub is family and dog friendly and always full. Max served me my food and was very attentive and made sure I had an enjoyable experience. One of my favourite pubs in sheffield for sure.

Best pub on crookes . Staff are always helpful and friendly and you are always made to feel welcome. Had a great time celebrating my birthday with friends on saturday 1st time in there for a couple of them but sure they will be back.
