Great pub. Main outlet for Stancill Brewery. Nice chat with bar person and manager on a Sunday night. Decor a little rough and ready but adds to the character. Decent beer from Stancill. Gents toilet has a fire place from 1750. Nice …
Visited the brewery tap for the Stancill brewery on a sunny Good Friday. Had an excellent pint of Barnsley bitter. Had no idea Sheffield United were at home and the ground is close by. Thankfully there is a huge beer garden with an outdoor bar and also a pizza stand. The blond real ale was also lovely. Great start to the day.
A favourite pub of mine ahead of the football. Plenty of space outside for drinking and the outdoor bar comes in really handy. Always plenty of staff on so you don't have to queue even when busy. The pizzas they do on match day are great as well
Loved this pub. Great local draft beers that are reasonably priced, friendly people and they allow outside food.
