Every time I come from South my sister and brother in law bring me here... This place is amazing. The service is fast, food is always hot and fresh.
The owners are really nice and down to earth people.
The best thing I have experienced is the pakistani traditional breakfasts. The size of the parantas are WOW.
I can never finish one, always pack to take away. I cant recommend this place enough. If your in the area pop in and have a try.

‘Desi’ which means traditional in every sense, totally advocated by this cafe. I’ve drank and eaten in a few places claiming to be ‘desi’ , but this cafe has proven it’s worth. The food was served in a timely fashion, super friendly staff, a wide range on offer on the menu, from a full English breakfast to traditional Pakistani dishes. Reasonable prices for an ample amount served in each dish, taste was designedly home style, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The decor of the cafe is based on Pakistani heritage. Overall and enjoyable pit stop for anyone looking for a bite to eat. Furthermore, they cater for allergy sufferers, and there she’ll chair access to the cafe.

Tasty halva puri and aloo paratha. The lassi was very nice. Was served doing a busy times but everything was good. The chana portion was nice I will suggest it to make curry sauce a bit thick than runny.

Pros: The best restaurant for desi breakfast in Sheffield. Food quality is home made. The persons who serves there treats you with etiquettes and respect. Parathas and Rotis are superb. Loved it.
Cons: The quantity of curry items is so little. Once I ordered Paratha with omelette and Chana. The quantity of Chana was so small as if they were serving it to a baby. Next time when I ordered chicken curry with Roti, same was true with chicken curry. You need to ask for two dishes if you want to use all your Roti or Parathas.

There are two dining areas here. We were in the downstairs area and it certainly added to the charm! Old Bollywood music and a cosier atmosphere, I loved it!
As for the food, it had a great fresh flavour. Little seekh kebabs were scrumptious! Chicken side curry had a homemade slow-cooked taste! Parathas, a pleasure on the lips! Very fair prices.
My only little criticisms are; the chai, it would be nice to taste a house blend of spices in the cup and... the gap as you come upstairs haha.
You should undoubtedly call in here, delicious!

Today was my first visit to Desi Cafe, and honestly the food here, brought back strong memories of home. The saying "Just how Mama makes it" comes to mind.
Desi Cafe is a family run business with Father and Son running the front, and Mother with 8 experienced women Chefs at the back making amazing High quality traditional Asian food at the back.
If you are a fan for Lassi, you must try their home Made mango lassi, it is worth the trip.
Or if your on your way to work, or looking for a pick me up, their Desi Chai (Dood Pathi) (Asian Tea) really hits the spot and gives you all you need.
I will definitely be visiting this family run business again, the environment the decor the prices are perfect makes you feel that you have found a place that you belong to "Apne"
I can finally say I have found a place that I can call home.

A very traditional breakfast, but they also offer a english breakfast which is all halal.
Parking is a pain in the area but if you do find a sport outside it is only £1.20 for 2 hours which is more than enough.
All the food was fresh and tasty, just wished there where more potatoes in the curry as there where only 3 pieces.
Would deffinetly go again if i was in the area!

I ordered the all English and choose hash browns as an extra. The bread was toasted perfectly and the beans were warm. Although the tomato could’ve cooked better but it did the job. I highly recommend this place. I loved it since I was in Sheffield for just a day, this Sunday brunch was worth it

OMG, where do i start. Although the cafe is quite small they do have seating downstairs too. The staff are really lovely and friendly. They always making sure you are ok and that your food is OK. I got the full English breakfast which is halal it was really nice. My family got desi breakfast which they enjoyed. There is a car park round the back of the cafe which you have to pay for.
