Massive portions, tasty Greek food and friendly service! I visited on the day before the restaurant was closed for a week for the owners to go on holiday, not sure if this is why the portions were huge but either way it was a lovely dinner and authentic Greek food! Would go again and try some more of the menu… try the feta starter it’s beautiful!
I visited here tonight with my partner, for the second time. We ate here about 8 months ago and we had such a great experience, we couldn't wait to come back! For our second visit, they certainly didn't let us down. The service was fantastic, with the staff extremely polite and friendly, and always happy to help if you need anything. The food was prompt, hot and flavourful, each bite as delicious as the last. As for portion sizes and value for money, we spent about £65 before tip and were so full from the mixed grill we shared, we had to take the leftovers home to enjoy later. I honestly can't recommend The Greek Village enough and can't wait for visit number 3!
Great location with inside and outside seating. The food portions for the mixed grill were enormous, with enough food for us to take home. The quality of the meat was great and the sides were tasty, however I would have appreciated a bit more salad and less fries.
Absolutely phenomenal food was amazing, freshly squeezed juice was lovely and also budget friendly will deffo visit again!

I wish I could put 6 starts. Great quality and big portions. We always get the mix grill!
The portions are huge! Definitely worth getting a few dishes and sharing rather than tackling the portions solo. The desserts, specifically the bakalava was sadly served cold which meant the syrup inside was frozen and seemed to be really clovey. The portions are good for the price but wasn't a huge fan of the chicken pieces in the chicken gyros main dish. Can't fault the starters, all delicious.
Our second time here and it was just as amazing as before. A real family atmosphere, great service, and excellent food! The kitchen is well organised and efficient, the staff are knowledgeable and very pleasant. Love this place and will return again and again , thank you Greek village.
They have the best coffee on Abbeydale Road in my opinion.
They have lovely pastries too which sell out fast.
I’m slowly becoming addicted to their spanakopita.
Superb Greek restaurant in Sheffield!
"The Greek Village" is absolutely the best in Sheffield, it's been our first visit but we will surely be back.
Wide food choice for meat eaters and vegetarians, plates are full of food and nicely presented like they would serve in Greece.
Amazing range of desserts and drinks to satisfy everyone.
I've ordered the tirokroketes (starter), the Giaourtlou (main) and the ekmek (dessert) and i absolutely loved everything!
Prices are just right for the quality and the quantity of the food you get.
We had the pleasure to speak with the owners to tell them how amazing our dinner has been and they're really friendly and very dedicated to the restaurant.
Highly recommend you to eat here!
