Friendly service didn't wait long for the meal to arrive food was nice n hot served on a hot plate which is very important to me overall very good will visit again

Friendly and welcoming nice atmosphere food was served hot and arrived quickly. Busy at the time and the service from staff was great. Parking and outside seating area plenty to choose from off the menu and great selection of drinks on offer.
Called in with my wife for tea (22/09/2023)and we wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the Goodfella burger and she had the Dirty dog hot dog, food and drinks were delivered in very reasonable time and we were not disappointed with the portion size….I even said I didn’t expect the burger to be that big! Both were delicious and clean plates were left. Thanks guys, keep up the good work because it was excellent!
We went on spec and both chose a sizzling sirloin steak topped with big garlic prawns (I’ve forgotten what it’s called on the menu!), served with chips (a big bowl full) the best onion rings I’ve ever tasted, grilled tomato, really good fried mushrooms and sautéed onions. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked (we both requested it rare and that’s what we got). It was served very quickly, With two large soft drinks the bill was only just over £30.
We love it at the Norton myself and my wife and our family friend who was 99 years old on the 24th of October and I was 54 the meal was great as always and the staff were excellent with an allergy I have were great

Friendly staff all throughout our time in the pub. We were served quickly and pleasantly i think the lady was called Becky. Food was lovely and came out well cooked and hot.
Lovely pub, staff were brilliant. Couldn't complain about the food, 2nd time I've been whilst visiting Sheffield.
One thing I forget about is how loud family's in Sheffield are and although I was with my in-laws I could hardly concentrate on our conversations due to the loud tables around me.....but if your used to that, you can't go wrong with a sizzler pub and the Norton is bang on for food and friendly staff
My husband & I came this evening for an early evening meal.Everything was spot on.I had the chicken & steak combo my husband had the sirloin steak.It was all cooked to perfection.We even sent compliments to the chef.The staff were friendly & efficient.A very pleasant all round experience.
Prices are not bad. No pineapple for gammon but wasn’t offered 2eggs. Forgot wafer on our grandson’s strawberry sundae. Charged full price for grandsons meal instead of £1.00. So had to got to bar andvget it sorted. Ordered on phone.
I had the hunters chicken with sweet potato fries and diet coca cola.
My 1st option was the chicken ham and cheese pie because someone told me how nice it was.
The hunters chicken was really nice and could have had more of it.
The pudding i had was milkybar and raspberry sundae was really nice too.
My daughters meals must have been really nice as she wolfed them down. She had the toad in hole with corn and chips and lemonade.
For pudding she had the make your own sundae.
Will be deffinatly returning.
