First time visiting and won't be the last. Food was lovely and the homemade puddings excellent. But mostly it was the welcome and friendly service from the lovely landlady that will bring myself and my dad back. Too many chain pubs these days that don't offer that personal touch. On such a hot day she was still smiling and chatting. Thanks for a lovely lunch 👍👍

Great little homely pub, serving fantastic home made food!!! Hand cut home made chips were amazing .... best we've tasted! Also, excellent value. Really friendly staff, made us feel at home. Will definitely be back ...... very soon!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the Beef dinner, was excellent proper yorkshire pudding and plenty of vegetables. Lovely staff, really made us welcome. A real Gem of a place we found by accident

Beautiful food the best we've had in a long time and lovely staff. If we lived in the area it would be our local but we were just up for the day.

Fabulous food every time. Definitely reccomend 💕 they do themed nights. This is south african night. First tuesday of every month. Book a table you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful pub, with excellent ales and really outstanding food. On fine days superb views can be enjoyed whilst either drinking or dining alfresco. Dog friendly, both indoors and out, an oasis of calm, an unhurried respite from a chaotic world.
