Had a fantastic time at the karaoke night. The staff and locals made us feel very welcome and we will certainly be returning. If you're planning a visit then it's cash only.

Our local pub whilst staying at air bnb for tramlines music festival. So glad we went for a few drinks and game of pool. Very reasonably priced drinks tho limited selection. Obvs a locals pub but we were made to feel welcome. Give an old school independent pub some business to stop them closing down!

Having a family weekend break (6 of us) we dropped into the Big Gun on Friday night for a drink, ended up stopping 3 hours, fantastic night made very welcome by everyone, infact we went back Saturday night, This is a proper pub can't wait for my next visit.

I hope this place never changes. Clearly a locals pub but if you're friendly with them, they're friendly with you. I had 3 pints of Tetleys and they were lovely and they didn't cost the earth.
I love the way this Pub remains stubbornly amongst newer and far less appealing businesses.
If you're passing you should call in to buy a pint and enjoy this nice old place.

A real friendly pub. Grumpy behind the bar (sign says that) didn't know anything about Cannon Brewery though even though the Stones he sells was nice and creamy. I went in for a pint on the way to Tesco Extra and another pint on the way back.
